My child would be removed from this school immediately

When Obama addressed the children with his stay in school message people basically went bat bleep crazy. Now mind you, there was good reason for being upset. The original, before the outrage, speech and post speech assignments were outrageous. How can we serve the president and help him achieve his goals? No thanks, I’d rather he not get his way. When Obama watered down the message and the Dept of Education “corrected their mistake” and resent a new follow up to the speech the left was mocking everyone that they could. However, I don’t think there can be any missing this. There is an ongoing campaign to get your children in the Obama camp and here’s just one more example. Behold the Obama Youth being taught and forced to sing praises of our dear leader. Saddam, Stalin and Hitler would be proud!

And when you libs get ready to tell me that there’s no there there, just stick it. Show me where this was done for Bush. Hell show me where it was done for Clinton. You can’t. If Bush had tried this, even at his 91% rating after 9/11, you would have gone crazy. And so would I. This is creepy and beyond the pale. That teacher should be fired. My child would not return to that class.

Even the bad news is glorious when Obama is in charge

The word rebound has many different meanings. A retreived ball off a miss in basketball. A new relationship after a breakup. Recovering from illness. Coming back from substance abuse problems. All of them are a positive thing. So, imagine my intrigue when I read this headline from CNN.

Initial jobless claims rebound

You see, the initial jobless claims went UP instead of continuing the expected down direction. In other words it’s BAD news. But hey, we can’t have bad headlines when Obama is in charge. No way. So, instead of “Jobless claims rise unexpectedly” or just “jobless claims rise”, we have to make sure it sounds pleasant. So they “rebound” instead.

The other day a black man was beaten to a pulp and put in the hospital by 4 white men. While the whites beat him, they called him “nigger” and other racial nasties. A hate crime to be sure. But no, not this time. Because ~~this man was an Obama opposer~~ this is a new age of post racial yada yada yada. I wonder if they will be charged at all seeing how the Obama of Oz and his cronies tossed the case of that black panther who brought a weapon to a voting place with the express purpose of stopping people from voting. Besides, not that anyone would know it since not one word was written in the press about either of these.

Finally, from Gateway Pundit, a blue dog democrat falls in line with Pelosi and calls the people who don’t want Obamacare “political terrorists“. Do you Obama lovers really think you’ll hold the house? This guy is toast next election. He’s supposed to be a smart democrat and not a Pelosi lapdog. His voters will remember this.

But hey, Obama is in charge. That means all your hurts will heal and your dreams will come true. Remember, he’s going to pay your mortgage eventually!

Sooo, let me get this straight

According to our fearless leader, Fuhrer Obama, Ahmadinejadis the legitimate president of Iran and that’s that. Nothing to see here. Nothing bad took place. Those protestors were just bussed in tea party hacks. Meanwhile the current president of Honduras, Micheletti, who assumed power when the Congress and Supreme Court of the country followed their constitution and basically impeached and removed the corrupt Zelaya from power is not legit. The military of Honduras not only didn’t back Zelaya, but obeyed the Supreme Court and escorted him out of the country. All of that was done per the constitution of Honduras, but somehow Micheletti is not a legitimate leader. Our president is a friggin moron… Thanks 52%’ers.

Stimulus fallout

Stimulus fallout. Hmm. Sounds like a disease caused by masturbation. Interesting. Anyway, Chris is having major ADD this week. I started out on Sister Toldjah’s website and on it she had a link to a clip of Falling Down. I watched the clip then watched several more and one stood out to me.

Obama is supposedly sending dollars into infrastructure for roads and all. You just know that when the democrat state governments get hold of that cash, they’ll make sure their “base” roads are taken care of and the areas that need it the most will still go untouched. It happens here in North Carolina all the time. The burbs where highway 485 runs are 2 measly lanes and one of the most important patches remains incomplete. All those patches run through pretty red counties here in NC. But over in Raleigh, where there are blue counties, there is a brand new 4 lane each way highway that connects 2 small cities. Less than 8000 cars a day will use that road and it gets 8 total lanes. Democrats making sure their support gets rewarded.

Anyway, I digress. I am just wondering if we’ll have a D-fens stepping up to make waves like this:

Do you like your tax cut from Obama?

Mike at Pursuing Happiness found a little tidbit on the new spin for the Obama ~~waste of money~~ stimulus. At 6:07 of the clip, Bill Burton calls Obama’s ~~waste of money~~ stimulus “one of the biggest tax decreases for the middle class in the countries history”. Um, yeah. I guess I didn’t get that check. Check it out for yourself. As Mike notes, Juan Williams gives him a total pass.

So, the “saved jobs” didn’t stick. The unemployment would be worse didn’t stick. Wonder if they’ll get away with this one…

Obama Finds That Pick. . .

Obama stated on the campaign trail that he would look for bench picks for the courts that had “empathy” for various groups. In selecting Sonia Sotomayor, Obama established one thing, compassion for competant firefighters who qualify for well deserved promotions is not one of his prerequisites. Hopefully Anthony Kennedy isn’t a douche who comes to the conclusion that a Title IX approach to affirmative action (eliminating programs and practices because you can’t achieve equality of results) is just fine by him.

One year after Maryland instituted a special tax on millionaires, the number of millionaires, according to tax records, has dropped from about 3,000 to about 2,000.

The Baltimore Sun: “Taxes collected from those returns as of last month have declined by roughly $100 million.”

The local Chamber of Commerce argues that it’s because the millionaires are moving away to Virginia and Pennsylvania (easier in Maryland than in some other states, since it’s so small). State officials say it’s too early to tell. Uh-huh

Change, he said, comes from the bottom up, not from the top down.

Hear that? No top-down federal busybodying. It’s a bottom up process.

He also said Washington’s ability to help the cities would be limited in part by a long-term federal budget deficit left by the Bush administration, which he called “the most fiscally irresponsible administration in modern times.”

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!! That would be the second most fiscally irresponsible administration in modern times. We now have the most fiscally irresponsible administration in the history of mankind. So how d’you like them apples?
