File this one in the dossier, Vast Right Wing Conspirators: Nice Deb has (rather nicely, in fact) compiled a list of Marxists for Obama, as a companion to her list of terrorists for Obama.
Not that it should come as any surprise to anyone that he’s so closely associated with Marxists, considering his own history (per his book). “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for” = “we are the revolutionaries Karl Marx promised.” Hope! Change! Orwell is spinning in his grave.
Oh, but nevermind Obama’s radical politics–you’re supposed to ignore that, otherwise you’re a “racist.” /eyeroll
How charming. Barack Obama’s official campaign blogger, Sam Graham-Felsen, has an interesting professional background. He’s a writer - or presumably WAS, before moving to the Obama campaign - for the Socialist Viewpoint.
The Socialist Workers Organization was formed to advance the revolutionary Marxist political program in the United States. Our members are long time active participants in the socialist and labor movements. We agree with Karl Marx that society is divided into social classes whose interests are irreconcilable.
The capitalist ruling class of the United States exercises a virtual dictatorship not only over American society, but also over the entire world. This capitalist class rule is the basic cause of the poverty, wars, and the degradation of the natural environment.
Quelle surprise.
Add this guy to Barack Obama’s army, Communist Division. He should fit in nicely with the likes of Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers.
Power to the people! Down with the capitalist pig bourgeoisie! CHANGE! Yes We Can build a Marxist Utopia! We are the ones we’ve been waiting for! We have HOPE for real CHANGE at last, comrade! Да мы можем! Yes we can!

It’s no wonder the Obamatards think of Hillary as “Republican Lite.” Compared to Obama and his followers, she almost is “Republican lite,” although that would then make me a extreme right-winger.
Seedubya has done a nice little chart so you can keep track of which terrorists support which candidate. (Larger, clearer versions are at the link.) BE SURE to hit the links he’s posted for more that goes beyond what would fit on the chart–and yes, file those away in the dossiers as well.

Nice Deb, with a massive list of nasty Friends of Barry.
Jane Fonda, the actress and ardent anti-Vietnam War advocate who visited North Vietnam during those hostilities, has endorsed Democrat Barack Obama for president.
Surely it’s no surprise to anyone that Hanoi Jane would support Obama and NOT John McCain. Support for the Black Panthers? Check. Treason? Check.
The problem for those of a certain generation that endured the Vietnam War and the sometimes violent domestic conflict that accompanied it at home is that during Fonda’s controversial wartime visit to North Vietnam, she was photographed at a Communist anti-aircraft gun battery.
According to the photo caption distributed at the time, she joined North Vietnamese soldiers there in singing an antiwar song while preparing to shoot at attacking Americans.
This earned her the nickname Hanoi Jane (indeed, that’s the TMZ headline this afternoon) and an enduring image as a polarizing figure, especially regarding patriotism.
As it happens, the Republican presidential candidate this time is Sen. John McCain of Arizona, who was one of those American fliers shot down over that same city by those same anti-aircraft forces, tortured and spent nearly six years in a POW cell while Fonda returned home.
Sickening.

You cannot even imagine how much this infuriates me.
No need to rehash the details here; it’s all at the link.
:redhot:
Here’s a splendid story highlighting the virtues of Marxism in the African Utopia that is Zimbabwe.
Ten white farmers appeared in court in Zimbabwe yesterday accused of growing crops on their land
Yes, you did read that right. They’re growing crops on their own land in a country where millions are starving, and they stand accused of a crime.
Now the Chegutu group is charged with violating the Consequential Provisions Act, which gave the few hundred remaining white farmers a final deadline of Sep 30 to leave their land and homes. The colonial-era Chegutu courtroom was packed by the so-called “war veterans” who are Mr Mugabe’s staunch supporters, and “beneficiaries” who stand to be given the properties should the 10 be convicted.
If you reversed the words ‘black’ and ‘white’ in this story, it would be front page news every day. As it is, nobody much cares - whitey had it coming I guess. Do the same with the following graph.
Didymus Mutasa, the lands minister, has said that the few hundred remaining white farmers will be forced out, one way or another.
“The position is that food shortages or no food shortages, we are going ahead to remove the remaining whites,” he said recently. “Too many blacks are still clamouring for land and we will resettle them on the remaining farms.”
It’s hard to read that and not laugh - unless of course you find it hard to laugh at the collapse of a formerly prosperous and beautiful country at the hands of hardline Marxist thugs.
Absolutely disgusting.
When will the government begin to tell us stuff we don’t already know:
WASHINGTON - China and Russia are spying on the United States nearly as much as they did during the Cold War, according to the top U.S. intelligence official.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Cold War never ended. It just passed out for awhile thanks to Yeltsin’s vodka intake. And the Chinese haven’t been our friends since WWII. Just who was it that poured over the Yalu River and enveloped the Marines at the Chosin Reservoir? It wasn’t the North Koreans.
And spying. Please. Every country spies on every other country. And every government knows it, they just don’t normally talk about it.
I think this guy is actually downplaying it. I’d bet the Russians and Chinese are probably spying on us more, not less, than they did during the era known as the Cold War.
The other day we had word that Castro had finally died. It was a rumor. I’ve decided the man will never die. He’s been a dead man walking for at least a year and yet he just keeps on popping up every time the rumors start that he’s finally gone on to his … reward.
This time he has reemerged and he’s endorsing a Hillary Clinton - Barack Obama ticket for the 2008 election.
Ailing Cuban leader Fidel Castro is tipping Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to team up and win the U.S. presidential election.
Clinton leads Obama in the race to be the Democratic nominee for the November 2008 election, and Castro said they would make a winning combination.
“The word today is that an apparently unbeatable ticket could be Hillary for president and Obama as her running mate,” he wrote in an editorial column on U.S. presidents published on Tuesday by Cuba’s Communist Party newspaper, Granma.
At 81, Castro has outlasted nine U.S. presidents since his 1959 revolution turned Cuba into a thorn in Washington’s side by building a communist society about 90 miles offshore from the United States.
He said all U.S. presidential candidates seeking the “coveted” electoral college votes of Florida have had to demand a democratic government in Cuba to win the backing of the powerful Cuban exile community.
Clinton and Obama, both senators, called for democratic change in Cuba last week. [source]
Like they say, you know people by the company they keep.
I suppose that would be a winning combination for Castro - or his party because I can’t imagine that he will continue to survive that long. I’m actually not convinced he’s still around, no one has seen him in public for a year and he was obviously wasting away with colon cancer then. He is only using written communications at this point. What do y’all think? Do you think they are just doing a Weekend at Bernie’s kinda thing with him?
As an aside, I thought it was interesting that he brought in Spanish doctors in hopes of getting effective treatment for his illness. I’m just thinking about Michael Moore asserting that Cuba has such an exemplary medical system, yet the dictator himself brings in foreign doctors to try to get help. Can you imagine the kind of medical care the underlings of that country get?
Author Stephanie Elizondo Griest hit the literary scene in 2004 with her critically acclaimed coming-of-age travel memoir, Around the Bloc: My Life in Moscow, Beijing, and Havana. Her newest book, 100 Places Every Woman Should Go, is a fresh and insightful look at destinations for the female journey.
I haven’t read her books, but since they’re “critically acclaimed,” I have to assume that they’re not written with a critical eye towards the places she’s been. To wit, Moscow, Beijing, and Havana.
Why she spent all that money when she could have gone to Boston, San Francisco, and Seattle to get the same thing is beyond me.
But then, even The Shadow doesn’t know what lurks in the minds of leftists.
