I STG, it’s like Google sometimes exists (for me) just to bring aggravation in the form of asshat drive-by commenters. Last week, I added at least five white supremacists to The Ban List who descended on the Rozita Swinton post, and yesterday I added a professional troll. The others who bother to comment are almost always either painfully stupid and write like brain-damaged teenagers texting messages to their dumbass friends, they’re dumping massive copypasta, or they’re stupid moonbats spewing their Barry Obama/Howard Dean-supplied talking points. And it’s always on older posts, which means I never get to enjoy a good old-fashioned beat-down on the offenders with the regulars here. Not that a beating is really necessary, when at least 99% of the time they’re just drive-bys anyway. Failtrolls fail.
Sorry, I just had to vent. It’s nice having decent Google search results - it does bring in traffic - but damn, the traffic quality suuuucks.

Feel like slapping around a real world-class internetard asshat? Remember the Nazi Kier O’Neil? Er, I mean the guy Kier O’Neil, who is unemployed and looking for work?
I wouldn’t normally put out a call like this, but this Kier O’Neil nazi deserves the full Internet Hate Machine treatment. I banned him from here as soon as he attempted to leave his hate-filled fistfuls of poo here. Kier O’Neil has his own website on which he can spout his nonsense.
P.S. Good luck with the job search, Nazi Kier O’Neil. LOL.
I think Reverend Wright has made the point a thousand times now–as has Barack Obama and his disciples–that we (the detractors) are taking things out of context. This is the most profoundly stupid argument I’ve heard, and it’s in fact yet another insult to imply such a thing.
Do they think we’re stupid? I thought so at first–that they thought we’d just accept that argument and not bother looking at “the context.” I don’t think so any more. Just what the hell sort of “context” are the apologists talking about? I heard the “context” that they want me to hear, I watched the Moyers interview (accurately called “Nerf Tee-Ball” by Jim Geraghty), I watched the “right-brained” speech at the NAACP and the “attack on the black church” speech and Q&A (accurately called a “horror show” by Baldilocks) and there’s nothing that makes “God damn America” sound like anything BUT “God damn America!” There’s nothing that makes what he said in the sound bites one bit more palatable.
I think some of the Obama/Wright apologists don’t even know what the hell “context” means. I actually think they heard this used as an excuse for some other faux pas somewhere, and thought it’d work in this case. I do not doubt at all any more that Wright and his apologists are that clueless and incapable of seeing how absurd the “context” argument is in this case. I can’t believe there’d be such a well-coordinated, synchronized blatant, nonsensical lie being pushed; it seems like it can only be blindness fueled by the echo chamber. It’s like proclaiming to the world that in fact, two plus two IS five, you dumbass right-wingers!
Of course, we’re all missing the point, the context, because we are racists, we’re evil, et cetera. Of course. If we only heard even more of what he says, we’d see that Reverend Jeremiah Wright is absolutely correct in everything he says. Why, it’s in the Bible! And how could we possibly miss it? It’s our own fault because we don’t like The Black Church™, which, of course, all teaches leftist liberation theology. They all say God damn America!
Baldilocks nails it, though - it’s actually not stupidity, it’s the megalomania and leftist orthodoxy of Wright and black liberation theology:
Megalomaniacs—a special species of narcissist–want the right to say and do anything they wish, but will deem any criticism of what they say and do as “unfair” (or “evil,” if they have some power over the critic). The criticism is never an honest difference of opinion or a mistake. And of course it is utterly impossible that the words, deeds and/or judgment of the narcissist are ever wrong. EVER. So it must be that those who oppose the narcissists words/deeds/judgment are willfully wrong and, therefore being unfair and unjust.
It is “unfair,” you see, to have a different opinion than Reverend Wright because, in his mind, any idea of his, especially one springing from his religion—a religion specially made for the self-indulgent–falls automatically in the realm of Good. Conversely, any opposing idea–specifically, opposing the idea that America is a whole-scale Oppressor, a Devil according to BLT - falls automatically under the rubric of the Enemy and will be judged as “unfair.”
Context. If you’ve seen “the context” and you disagree with Jeremiah Wright’s assessment of God, the world, and America, you are attacking the black church. You’re a hater.
Hater!
I saw this at Digg (where else?) last week, but ignored it after burying it. It seems, though, that Paultards are quite serious about hijacking the Republican Convention. If you don’t want to see the “plan” at the Paultards’ blogs, read it here. Snip:
*The Strategy:*
The strategy therefore must be to get as many Ron Paul delegates selected to represent their states at the National Convention.
That means our delegates need to stay low-key.
Resolutions are a dead giveaway, especially when they are fought over things like opposition to the war, or abolishing the Federal Reserve and the IRS, all signature issues of Ron Paul.
So, the best plan is to shut up, move along, do what you have to do to get selected, sign the pledge to “support” McCain (it doesn’t say you promise not to abstain!) and just get in short of outright lying, of course.
If there are any ethical concerns about this supposed “stealth tactic,” think about what ethical concerns you may have if you allow McCain to become president by your inaction. [Continue reading...]
Ethics? We don’t need no stinkin’ ethics! It’s REVOLUTION! Forget about the sheeple’s votes, this is a coup!

At least one person is fighting back. Heather Johnson of Moms4Mitt.com:
I am a Mitt fan and have a blog for his support. But I have also pledged on my blog my support for McCain as a our GOP nominee. I am trying to do my part in stopping these Ron Paul fans from overtaking the convention with their agenda nonsense and just get McCain officially nominated.
Heather is trying to just GET to the convention, but she needs help (financially) getting there. If you can drop a few shekels her way, you’ll be doing your part to shut up these asshat Paultards. Make no mistake, they are extremely well-organized (online activity and caucus results should tell you that much) and you can be sure they’ll make their presence known at the National Convention. Unless you want to see the GOP have an even more f’d up convention than it looks like the Dems will have, the Paultard kiddies must be stopped.
Ron Paul has even given tacit support to this idea (or that’s how it’ll be read by his fanatic supporters), while leaving his options open for a third party run:
“I’ll be very cautious about what I do,” he said, noting his effort to encourage his supporters to get involved with their local Republican committee.
And you know Ron Paul–he’s a stickler for the last letter of the Constitution. If it can be interpreted to allow this “loophole” that can get him nominated–or at the very least, create chaos–it’s A-OK. He’ll say this is exactly what the Constitution was designed for. (Nevermind the votes for the candidates–the votes for delegates matter more? LOL.)
Please help Heather out - I absolutely vouch for her honesty and ethics 100%. She needs help getting to the Convention, and we need to put the final nail in the Paultard coffin of crazy once and for all.

How charming. Barack Obama’s official campaign blogger, Sam Graham-Felsen, has an interesting professional background. He’s a writer - or presumably WAS, before moving to the Obama campaign - for the Socialist Viewpoint.
The Socialist Workers Organization was formed to advance the revolutionary Marxist political program in the United States. Our members are long time active participants in the socialist and labor movements. We agree with Karl Marx that society is divided into social classes whose interests are irreconcilable.
The capitalist ruling class of the United States exercises a virtual dictatorship not only over American society, but also over the entire world. This capitalist class rule is the basic cause of the poverty, wars, and the degradation of the natural environment.
Quelle surprise.
Add this guy to Barack Obama’s army, Communist Division. He should fit in nicely with the likes of Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers.
Power to the people! Down with the capitalist pig bourgeoisie! CHANGE! Yes We Can build a Marxist Utopia! We are the ones we’ve been waiting for! We have HOPE for real CHANGE at last, comrade! Да мы можем! Yes we can!

It’s no wonder the Obamatards think of Hillary as “Republican Lite.” Compared to Obama and his followers, she almost is “Republican lite,” although that would then make me a extreme right-winger.
ZOMG, BUSH AUTHORIZED TORTURE!!11!
FAIL.
What’s important now we have at least ONE signed memo which establishes George W. Bush as the executive authority making final decisions in the NSC process which established a United States run torture regime; the document shown at the bottom of this post.
Wow, the President is the authority who makes final decisions in the NSC? Stunning news!!! Not.
Here’s the shocking document (PDF) that has all the Kossacks in an uproar. Please take note of items 3 through 5, but read it all thoroughly and tell me–where does he “authorize torture?”

(Also not news: Diggtards can’t read, either.)
S/he thinks John McCain’s pastor is Rod Parsley, and says,
It looks like my Pastor isn’t the only one who believes that the government has been complicit in plots against blacks in America too.
“Too.” Because fanatics would never believe there AREN’T “genocidal plots against African Americans.” And of course, s/he ISN’T ignorant, claiming Parsley is McCain’s pastor.

You can’t make this shit up. Or…wait, apparently you can. Priceless.
(Also priceless.)
Lately the meme among the conservative media has been “John McCain will kill conservatism.” I find that assertion ironic. Consider this (go read it!), for example, and tell me: who’s really destroying conservatism, by bringing discredit to conservatives?
Ann Coulter hasn’t just jumped the shark, she’s orbited it. That alone is enough to make conservatism look like a freaking joke.
But it’s not just her–have a look at the comments in the Hot Air post. At least Allah seems to get it, although he’s never been a Coulter fan anyway:
The ne plus ultra of conservatives crapping away Iraq in a fit of spite at Maverick: “I think she would be stronger on the war on terrorism.” Madness.
AMEN. And while Ann Coulter and her allies have been comfortably at their computers banging out their screeds and busy with self-promotion when they aren’t sitting at home watching American Idol, men and women have been risking their lives every single day overseas. What has Coulter or any of us had to sacrifice during the war? Nothing–while our military men and women risk everything, thousands paying the ultimate price. They deserve better. Supposedly pro-war “conservatives” like Coulter and her allies who would rather elect the defeatists? Not so much. Some clueless boob wrote the other day (I can’t remember where, sorry!) that he’ll “survive” a Clinton or Obama presidency. Well, duh. Of course these selfish creatures will “survive.” But I guess it doesn’t matter if others don’t survive, if you’re a selfish, small-minded, immature coward.
Allah also asks, “Civil war within the Hot Air family? I fear the worst, my friends.” Eh, not just within the Hot Air family, I’m afraid–there’s apparently a civil war within the conservative family, or at least one has been declared on everyone who doesn’t fall in line with the conservative media groupthink. Because, you know, the rest of us are just pretending to be conservative. Coulter, Malkin, Levin, Rush, Hannity, Hewitt, the Corner (save for Jonah Goldberg), Rick Santorum and the others with McCain Derangement Syndrome are the real Deciders, and they’ve apparently decided “true” conservatism is shrill, intolerant of differences of opinion, amoral, unhinged, hypocritical, hyper-emotional, selfish, laughably dishonest, full of contempt for “compassion,” and all the other perjoratives heaped upon conservatives by the Left. And these are the “voices” of conservatism to the public–and ironically, the same people who write books about the Left being insane.
Meanwhile, their sycophants on the internet parrot everything they say or write, dropping links to the MDS rants as though it’s proof John McCain is a “liberal,” often peppering their comments with frankly bigoted appellations like “Juan La Raza McAmnesty,” just as they called Bush “Jorge Arbusto.” (Yeah! They’re just like those dirty Mexicans!!1!)
Hey, that makes conservatism pretty appealing to the undecided, don’t ya think?
I’m not saying at all that you have to vote for John McCain in the primaries (although I hope people do)–I know everyone has his or her preference and that’s what the primaries are about. But this ridiculous demonization of McCain and those who are voting for him (as I did on Wednesday) is more harmful to the “conservative movement” than John McCain will ever be. As I wrote at Red State a couple weeks ago:
Even though McCain isn’t the ideal conservative and is wrong, even unacceptably so, on some things by our standards, he’s right on many more. (And as Reagan famously said, the person who agrees with me 80% of the time is not my enemy.) If he can bring in swing voters, he’s effectively moved the center rightward. He’s not polarizing among the general public, he knows how to speak to independents and centrists, and could very well change public opinion on certain issues, just as he had that effect with regard to the Rumsfeld strategy in the war. And it worked. We may not like his illegal immigration strategy, but it’s better than anything we’ll get with Hillobama and a Democratic Congress, and frankly, it’s not so different from what we’d get from most of the other GOP contenders, rhetoric aside. President McCain would absolutely have a more conservative solution to the illegal immigration problem than any Democrat.
Another point, which was raised in the comments of BlackRepub’s diary about black conservatives and the big tent, was that Hispanic voters are effectively gone for probably the next generation, after the last year. This is unfortunately very likely true, at least for those who would otherwise have been swing voters.
[...]
I can’t say I blame Hispanic swing voters for not wanting to vote Republican this time around. Not after the loud verbal beatings they’ve been taking as a group over the last couple of years, which on the internets (although not at RS) has been peppered with wildly offensive ethnic slurs and other perjorative rhetoric. Surely we’ve all seen it–it’s even been seen at some of the bigger blogs. I’m not Hispanic, but even I was ashamed to be identified as a conservative at times like that. But John McCain can bring them back.
We have an opportunity to GROW the conservative movement by attracting new people to our tent. Will they be as conservative as Ann Coulter? Probably not, and I’d say that’s not a bad thing. They won’t be “infiltrating,” as I’ve seen some stupidly say, they’ll be joining. As for me, I welcome independent and disaffected Democrats into the big tent. I may not agree with them on some things, but if they’re casting votes as I am, I’ll get more of what I want. So will the MDS cranks, for that matter. Isn’t it better to have people NOT voting for Democrats with their “progressive” (oxymoron!) ideals?
So thanks, conservative MDS media, for nothing. You can now go pose for your group picture that goes up on the poster the Left waves around as an example of what the Right is about. They might have to make it a panoramic shot to fit y’all in among Larry Craig, Mark Foley, Ted Haggert, Duke Cunningham, Jack Abramoff, Tom Delay, Ted “Bridge to Nowhere” Stevens, and yes, Rick Santorum as well. Thanks, y’all!
Hey, don’t you want to be a conservative too?
A final, but important note, before someone says, “you’re a RINO” or whatever. I am a conservative. I am pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, fiercely patriotic, for a strong military, a national security hawk, for the Patriot Act and the war (including keeping Gitmo operational), for less gubmint intrusion in business, for low (flat!) taxes and less spending, against judicial activism, for law and order (which includes immigration enforcement, but not just for the southern border!), and I believe in “traditional” Judeo-Christian values, to include being vehemently anti-racist and having compassion for those less fortunate. I also believe in pragmatism and in “drawing more flies with honey than vinegar.” I’m not going to say “that’s what conservatism is”–I don’t pretentiously claim to be the arbiter of such things, as some do–but one would frankly be stupid if he or she were to actually think the rhetoric of the MDSers is an effective way to bring others to the Right.
I am a conservative, and I support John McCain.
UPDATE: The Anchoress:
Nothing else matters but that they don’t believe the same things “we” believe (whoever “we” are, Conservative or Liberal). Because they don’t believe the same things “we” believe, they are bad, undesirable people and we shun them and will not have them in our midst.
It’s downright unAmerican, if you ask me.
Or should I say, losers. Paultard commenter “Claire” and her sockpuppet, and L. Ron Paul Hubbard himself, for having sockpuppet fanatic supporters. LOL! I guess “Claire” (I doubt that’s her real name) can’t find anyone to agree with her? HAHAHAHAHA!

I know, I missed posting this on Halloween. It is the Day of the Dead and Samhain for some people, though, so it’s suitable.
I have to put it below the fold, because it’s THAT SCARY. Safe for work…unless irritating noises and hideous sights are a problem! (Just be glad I didn’t give you the goatse pumpkin yesterday–although that isn’t nearly as horrifying as these videos.)
Don’t blame me for this…blame Vinnie for sending it to me. BRAT.
Ready? ….
It’s amazing the lengths to which some hysterical ninnies will go when their fragile “liberal” egos are bruised. Such an earth-shaking scandal, having someone in the military send email saying you’re wrong!
Much ado is being made of Red State’s recent decision to ban Paulbots from posting, with a lot of criticism (much of which is not worth reading) being directed at them for it. Here’s my two cents, but first, the ban:
Effective immediately, new users may *not* shill for Ron Paul in any way shape, form or fashion. Not in comments, not in diaries, nada. If your account is less than 6 months old, you can talk about something else, you can participate in the other threads and be your zany libertarian self all you want, but you cannot pimp Ron Paul. Those with accounts more than six months old may proceed as normal.
Ed Morrissey, among others, thinks they made a mistake in doing so.
It’s their community, of course, and they set the rules. However, this doesn’t hurt Paul’s credibility as much as it does Redstate’s. While Paul’s supporters tend towards the annoying and repetitive, they have less impact because we can easily engage them and counter their arguments. Banning them simply for their support for a candidate seems more like an admission that Redstate lacks that ability.
That’s a fair-minded critique, but I think Ed doesn’t completely understand the situation, nor do the others condemning the ban. (Many, if not most, of the others are simply flaming rather than discussing, and they aren’t worth addressing.)
For one thing, Red State is a community website, much like the Daily Kos or the DU. Each has an overall “flavor,” if you will, and it’s the siteowners’ prerogative to determine that flavor. Kos and the DU are quite explicit in their rules not allowing conservatives, and the DU will go as far as banning even if you’re there only to help. (I don’t know if Kos does the same thing, but it wouldn’t surprise me.) I’m quite certain that Ron Paul supporters who aren’t there to shill and/or attack are welcomed at Red State, but unfortunately, I have yet to see a Paultard that isn’t on the attack or isn’t spamming. That’s why we taunt them here at MVRWC–because they’re easy, like troofers and other assorted conspiracy nuts. There’s virtually no difference between the styles of Paultards and troofers. Anyway, if Leon Wolf, Erick Erickson, Mark Krempasky, and the others don’t want Red State to turn into a Ron Paul campaign website, banning the Paultards makes sense. Red State members generate content there, unlike at regular blogs. It probably would be silly for Ed Morrissey to issue a blanket ban, because he’s the only one generating content for the site–comments are just comments, and the opinions of the commenters can’t make Captain’s Quarters turn into a Ron Paul blog. (I don’t mean to pick on CQ–it’s just that his blog post was a fair critique written in good faith.)
Now, I’ve been spending time at Digg lately. Without even being a regular Red State reader, I know exactly what Leon and the others were dealing with and how frustrated they are just by watching Digg. It’s not enough with these people to post a story just once; it has to be spammed repeatedly until they’ve converted someone into their cult–and that happens with any RP story. And believe me, there are a lot of them. For example: there are countless Ron Paul blogs out there, and all have written screamed bloody murder about the Red State ban, and all the posts have been sent to digg. That’s fair, of course, but it’s annoying as hell seeing nothing but the same Ron Paul stories all the time. The Paultards are organized, and any time their boy gets a mention on a website, they flock to it to digg, comment, flame, whatever. Imagine a post at Red State extolling the saintly virtues of Dear Leader Ron Paul. Now imagine the link spammed all over the place, to bring in allies to comment and flame detractors. Now also imagine it being linked as “Red State endorses Ron Paul.” Well, guess what–that’s what they do, and they’ve learned well how to do it from their brothers, the 9/11 troofers. They don’t just state their case and engage in rational discussion; they refuse to acknowledge any other position at all, and they repeat their garbage (and that’s what it usually is) over and over ad nauseum. It’s just a big, annoying waste of time. As for me, I’ve learned to just ignore their gibberish in the comments here. But at Red State it isn’t just comments; they have user blogs.
Yes, as Ed says, their arguments are easy to refute, but who has time for it? The problem is, they can not agree to disagree. They’re the ultimate trolls, refusing to let anyone else have their say. They flame everyone who disagrees, calling them socialists or fascists, saying “you hate the Constitution,” “you hate liberty,” “Ron Paul is the ONE TRUE conservative,” “you’re a tool of the NWO/CFR/Zionist crusaders, go back to sleep,” blah blah blah. Yawn. Is there any point at all in debating that? Why subject your other readers/community members to it? I sure wouldn’t, and I’m sure nobody who’s criticizing Red State for the ban would either. Most (if not all) blogs have rules of some kind that dictate the content, whether it’s a no-swearing rule, a no-troofers rule, or whatever. We even have rules like that here at MVRWC.
Here’s a charming example of a Paultard comment, at Captain’s Quarters (warning–heavy concentration of Paultard nonsense in the comments there):
Posted by Abe Foxman | October 24, 2007 6:02 PM
Maybe if Ron Paul had bent his knee and groveled before the Lords of AIPAC he would be found more acceptable to the Big People That Matter.
If kissing the butt of Alien nation’s Agent of Influence is good enough for Rudy and Hillary, Ron Paul should just accept that powerful Jews control who the public is allowed to discuss and vote for.
Niiiiice. See, if that filthy crap were posted here, that Nazi pig would be banned immediately. There are plenty of people who will take a comment from a blog and say “So-and-so (siteowner) endorses this,” because it wasn’t deleted. Call it fascist if you want, but we don’t allow that kind of filth here, period. And while this isn’t the typical public Paultard comment, it’s certainly not unheard-of.
Should Red State start allowing white supremacists to post? Should they allow troofers and other deranged conspiracy theorists to post?
David All also disagrees with the RS ban, saying,
Personally, I recognize that Paul’s support is very, very real, especially in the politics + tech sphere. He is the people-powered Howard Dean candidate of 2008 which I’ve been saying we need to “prove” the importance of an effective Internet strategy. He is that Revolution.
This is another instance of not understanding the problem. The faithful Reverend Doctor Saint Ron Paul disciples do not have an “effective Internet strategy.” They have an annoying internet strategy, and Red State is just the first of the big websites to finally stomp out the obsessed, spamming trolls. It’s become a joke in the blogosphere–if you want traffic, post something about Ron Paul because they’ll all come running to spam and/or engage in a circle jerk in the comments. At digg, there is no topic, no matter how unrelated it is, that isn’t polluted with “Ron Paul 2008!” in the comments. Some have even started putting “Ron Paul” in the title just to get the attention of the Paulbots who are endlessly searching for new stuff there, because some will automatically digg anything with his name. (I wouldn’t be surprised if Digg starts banning Ron Paul sites because of the massive amount of duplicate and stuff submitted there.) And everyone knows about the Paulbots flooding internet polls–they post the links to polls in Ron Paul forums and at Digg repeatedly and they all go vote, making the results look absolutely nothing like the scientific polls. Then they scream bloody murder if the poll results are dismissed as having been flooded/spammed/stacked, and bombard the pollers with angry, hateful emails about it. Ask them at Pajamas Media, LGF, or GOP Bloggers. Ask Fox News, CNBC, or any other mainstream media organization. They know. John Hawkins knows, too–they’ve actually tried to get him fired from his job for not worshiping at the altar of the Reverend Doctor Saint Ron Paul. (So much for their claims that they’re all about “freedom.”) Who has time for or wants to be bothered with that kind of nonsense?
Although I disagree profoundly with Ron Paul on many issues, I do happen to agree* with others, and I’m sure the Red Staters would say the same. But it’s not Ron Paul that’s the problem–it’s his supporters. Nobody likes spammers or trolls.
Ron Paul Cultists, like 9/11 troofers, are fond of quoting Gandhi: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Ron Paul is no Gandhi. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they just think Ron Paul sucks. The end.
Good for Red State for taking back control of their own site’s content.
* I also agree with certain things some Democrats like Joe Lieberman are for. It doesn’t mean I’d vote for him for President, though, so don’t bother, Paulbots. It’s not gonna happen. Ever.
UPDATE: That’s gonna leave a mark! (But see? People have had enough of the Paulbots. Let the backlash begin!)
Genius at work.
We Should Set Up A Fund So People In Other Countries Can Donate to RON PAUL
We could set up an account for collecting donations from out of the country. Then people who havent given the max could divvy it out. We could automate it with paypal or egold or something. Could it be made legal Is it ethical Leave a reply and help us figure something out.
I realize, of course, that it’s hard for kids to know all the details of federal election laws, but really…this one’s pretty freakin’ basic.
Not that FEC laws have ever stopped Paultards before. (What next, Paultards, will your savior abolish the FEC too?)

By the way, Internet, you are not supplying enough Paultard photoshops. Please get with the program–kthxbai.

Oh, yes they did flog the “President of Douchebagistan!”
(Note, also, that dlawbailey does get some criticism in the Kos comments, and acts like…the President of Douchebagistan about it.)
Wanna fight back? Support Pete Hegseth and the other genuine HEROES at Vets for Freedom (military supporters who aren’t veterans themselves are welcomed!). Supporting VFF is the best way to shut up scumbags like “dlawbailey” and the other idiotarians who hate them.
