How come this is still a race?

Obama has more money than he knows what to do with.
Obama has faced almost no tough questions regarding his past associations and statements.
Obama is a post-racial, post-partisan uniter.
Obama has a free 24/7 PR operation - the MainStream Media.
Obama is running in a Democrat year.
Obama is running against four more years of the most unpopular President of all time.
Obama is running against a mentally-unstable, geriatric buffoon.
So,
How come he’s not winning?

Lord Bitememan says:
It’s simple. People want to change direction from Bush, but that does not mean they want to give a mandate to turn America into a socialist hellhole to the Dems. So, while people want a change in direction, they’re not certain they want the change Obama will bring. Ergo, people can’t decide.
GlenF says:
He’s black.
Go McCain/Palin says:
The reason this is still a race:
1. We still know very little about Obama after two years. His birth certificate is sealed. All of his educational records are off limits. Obama has no record of accomplishments beyound community organizing. Obama’s associations show bad judgment. He is anti-American.
2. Obama wants to spread the wealth and create European style socialism in America. He is anti- capitalism.
3. Obama wants to give millions of illegals a driver’s license.
4. Obama can’t be trusted on foreign policy. He is willing to set down with any terrorist thug around the world. Obama has no foreign policy experience and will be tested by rogue nations.
5. Obama is a strong supporter of abortion, even late term abortions.
Talmadge East says:
What do you mean “he’s not winning”?
Harry says:
I don’t believe the polls which show Obama with a 375-163 electoral college edge. It’s much tighter than that. In many of those swing states, it could still go either way. However, it seems rather odd that McCain would be campaigning in Pennsylvania, when Virginia would be a better place for him to be. Somehow, I cast some doubts on the projected count. For example, the latest polling results in Florida, North Carolina, Missouri and Ohio are questionable. Many Republican voters don’t announce their intentions, as they are more often older, more cautious and reserved. Some who say they support Obama may switch at the last minute to McCain. Also, they go and vote, while many younger voters who support Obama won’t necessarily do so. However, given the economy, they might be more motivated than usual.
Barry says:
The left wing radical socialist bias liberal media wants you to believe he is winning…….It`s the old Hitler ploy ; “tell the people a lie long enough , and eventually they will accept it to be true” …
question says:
I’m curious.
Who are all of you?
As in, how old are you? which state are you from? what do you do for a living? and what’s the highest level of education you’ve achieved?
I’ll start- I’m a sophomore (20 year old) college student from Massachusetts, trying to finish my Bachelors degree.
Now you all go!
