Clinton: It’s a vast right LEFT wing conspiracy!

I can’t decide if I feel sympathetic for the Clintons, or if I’m enjoying a little schadenfreude, or if I’m just pissed because WE TOLD THEM SO, dammit.
The Clintons’ chickenssss…are comin’ hooooome….to ROOST!
I think I’m sort of a combination of all of the above. I’m pissed, enjoying the Clintons’ fall from grace, and a (tiny) bit sympathetic. It’s rather annoying when all put together. I must admit, though, that Bill Clinton has quite possibly been the most entertaining character during this election, if for no other reason than because of his troofer smackdowns. Also because of the “Give me a break. This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I’ve ever seen” line, which I’ve adopted for frequent use, because it’s the damn truth. (Still trying to figure out how the hell that qualifies as “racist,” but since it’s an utterly absurd charge, I think the quote should be used as often as possible.)
That said, in what fairy tale were the Clintons living when they thought there was a sinister “vast right wing conspiracy” out to get them? I’m thinking that might be the biggest fairy tale of all.

Yeah, I have to laugh too.

Lord Bitememan says:
I have to admit, on the bias question, Hillary got to see it first hand, it shows, and I think she appreciates that there IS a bias in the MSM, and I can at least respect that she knows this now. That, and it doesn’t hurt that she’s going after Mr. Bitter Americans FOR the arrogance of the Bitter Americans remark, and not just because he failed to blame corporate Amerikkka for their small town ignorance. That said, my wife and I will owe $400 in government extortion in the name of the Michigan Driver Responsibility Act this year, and the thought of Hillary doing for health insurance at the federal level what Michigan has done for automotive insurance at the state level sends a horrid chill down my spine.
PaulW says:
I have to be blunt: there WAS a right wing conspiracy out to get the Clintons. It just wasn’t vast, mostly about 12-15 people, tops. Everybody else was just along for the ride. The problem was the Clintons hurt themselves with overreach (Hillarycare) and self-indulgence (take a pick).
Of course, now that the lefties are hovering about the Boy King of Destiny, the conspiracy’s shifted to the other end of the political spectrum in the eyes of the Clintons. Which tells you all you need to know about the ‘conspiracies’ that are out to get them (in other words, they’re p-ssed everyone isn’t eating up their crap and calling it filet mignon). It’s not us that’s the problem, it’s them…
The Law of Politics says:
No matter if you are on the left of right side of politics there is going to be a conspiracy theory put out by the opposing side or their supporters. It’s a part of todays politics, whether you like it or not. The Obama campaign and its supporters will try and make McCain out to be a raciest or paint some picture like that in the coming months I bet and McCain supporters will make whatever controversy they can about Obama, i.e The Israel-Hamas thing going on now. I think McCain has run a fairly clean campaign to this point, and the Obama campaign itself has been all that bad.
