What a tool this guy is - he’s going to get eaten for lunch in November, despite his staggeringly puerile claims to being ‘LeBron baby‘ (I got game?? Is he trying to hit on chicks in a college-town bar, or is he running for President? It’s a little difficult to tell from this embarrassing teen braggadocio, but that’s another story).
What today’s news tells us is that in addition to being an arrogant, far left-wing, out-of-touch elitist liberal, teh Obamessiah™ is also a stinking hypocrite.
The Democratic presidential contender was in Detroit on Monday, oozing charisma and environmental awareness as he chided local automakers for building too many big vehicles and not enough fuel-efficient hybrids.
So his choice to drive a V8 Hemi-powered Chrysler 300C emits a whiff of hypocrisy along with its exhaust fumes. Obama’s choice proves once again that fuel economy is seldom the No. 1 factor when Americans buy cars. The 340-horsepower 300C has plenty of room for the lanky senator, his wife, Michelle, and their two daughters. It gets 25 miles per gallon on the highway, good for a big sedan, but far short of hybrids and compact cars.
I’d like to think the drive-by media would comment upon this (further) example of Obama doing one thing and saying another, but they may yet buy Obama’s catch-all response that it’s just a distraction.
In contrast to the examples of media coverage of hypocrisy on the right, the media have not pinned Obama down on his double-standard of chiding Detroit for making the same kind of “bigger and faster” inefficient carbon-spewing Earth-killer that sits in his drive way.

Call it a hunch but $50 says he has some shiny 24″ rims on that ride, too. Maybe 26″ rims. Ain’t no self-respecting brother gonna roll out on the town in a Prius.
No two ways about it, he got the 300 for the street cred. Same reason he joined TUCC years ago.

A great example of Obama’s protectionist pandering contradicting his environmental fascism. I know morons here will soak it up, but take it from this Detroiter, Obama would be supporting more American workers driving a Toyota than he would any American model. Let’s say, for argument’s sake, the American model is even assembled in America, it’s usually made out of so many Chinese parts that it insults human dignity to call it an American car. They did a study a while back, and found now that there is no quantitative difference between the American made status of the American cars than there is the Japanese. So, for all it was worth, Obama might as well have been driving one of Toyota’s many fuel efficient models. He might not have been supporting Detroit labor, but he’d be supporting labor in other parts of the country and at least he wouldn’t be a hypocrite on the environment.

LB, I’ve always thought it was silly when people say they drive “American” cars. Hell, we’ve got Mercedes and/or BMW manufacturing cars right here in Alabama. He’s an idiot.
