And yes - I do NOT hate John McCain. I think McCain is wrong on the war and I’m certainly not going to vote for him, but I think he is a decent and kind person and I wouldn’t wish him any ill will under any circumstances.

Adam, that’s a fair question. I don’t hate him, but I am wildly opposed to his agenda and his hypocrisy about campaign tactics. He talks about “unity” and a “fair” campaign, but he is divisive in his political views and in his rhetoric. His agenda is wrong. There is nothing about him that inspires “hope” in me at all–it’s only “hope” for those who agree with him. The only “change” he’ll bring about is a violent jerk to the Left. That’s not the kind of Hopechange™ I want, and he is not the one I’ve been waiting for. He is one of many of the same people I’ve been in opposition to for decades. The only thing “new” about him is his name and his physical appearance, both of which are irrelevant. (Sure, I think it’d be great to have a black President–just not THIS one. Give me a black conservative President, please.)
I also resent how everyone who’s opposed him - including other Democrats! - have been called racists because of their/our opposition, by many/most of his surrogates and supporters. I’m sure you know how I’ve been vocal in my opposition to racism among friends and opponents alike. I think this divisive bullshit (calling his opponents racists) is doing more to damage race relations than I could ever have imagined, because it’s brought out all kinds of nastiness on all sides.
Also, the lies (LIES!) that are used in opposition to McCain - “100 year war” and “McSame” and the like - are frankly nauseating and are worthy of nothing but spit and scorn. Barack Obama repeats these retarded memes on a daily basis, and it only increases my pure disdain for him as a candidate and as a man. He’s an intellectually dishonest hack, just like every other typical, tired, Chicago Democratic Machine political hack.
Hate? No. I just have absolutely no respect for this clown. His candidacy is like a cruel joke on the electorate. All his talk about how he wants to talk about the issues? Well, he should do it, then - but do it HONESTLY. His rhetoric and promises are in complete contradiction to reality and the record.
Sorry, Adam, I know we’re not gonna agree on this, but you’re still cool with me. ;)

I can’t accept that you’re interested in the truth if you’re enthusiastically propagating the idea that Obama was “endorsed by Hamas.” This wallpaper image tosses in Hezbollah and The Ummah as well. Some guy from Hamas says in an interview that “we like Obama” and that makes Obama a tool of Hamas? This is terribly dishonest of you. I’d love to see honesty adhered to by all presidential campaigns and it bothers me when McCain is smeared dishonestly. “Obama is endorsed by Hamas” is as dishonest as it gets. Are you really interested in honesty? Why not correct the record on Obama and Hamas (and Hezbollah, for that matter) then?

Well, the pic is just a joke - of course he hasn’t been endorsed by Hezbollah by any stretch of the imagination. It’s just silliness, like thousands of other political photoshops. And specifically, it’s pretty much Frogman’s schtick (photoshops). You should see the one he did for “man-eater” Hillary - SCARY. It’s gonna give me nightmares.

Hemaynot be formally endorsed by Hamas, but they have said they would rather have Obammasiah in the White House compared to McCain, endorsement of sorts,but not an official endorsement. He also has some Palestinians doing calls for hiinthe elections also.
But mostly these are just fun ands poofs of a shallow man. Obama is no closer to a “change” than Hillary is adn I “hope” he get no where near the White House. The are both Socialists,he is just fartherto the Left than Hillary and has the Nutroots behind him 100% or maybe about 90%, some arefor Hillary,but most despise Hillary and Bill now that they are getting in the way of the Obamassiah.

Well, Adam, this is a conservative blog and poking fun at liberals, whether fair poking or not, is just plain old fun for the masses. Nobody here is actually basing their vote on whether or not Hamas is endorsed by Obama. Some base it on the courts, some base it on tax policy, some base it on defense policy, but the Hamas thing is just for laughs between web-buddies. I don’t “hate” Obama, but I certainly think he’s dangerously naive in his foreign affairs thinking. To think this is 1: my right, and 2: justifiable out of policy positions he’s taken.

To toss in my two cents, Stix, you can add Iran, Ghaddaffi, FARC, Daniel Ortega, Castro, and a few others to Hamas who have expressed a desire to see Obama elected President. Each of these individuals or countries have interests completely antithetical to those of America and wholly at odds with freedom, democracy and capitalism. No one has claimed that Obama supports them or their agendas. That said, the relevant point is why they would see an Obama presidency as being in their best interests? The reason of course is they have evaluated Obama’s positions and view him as far weaker on foreign policy and thus, far less likely to effectively oppose them or their own goals - which in the case of Iran in particular is of existential importance. That’s my two cents. Hilarious poster. Linked.

GW - you make a great point re the reason why so many foreign extremist persons and organizations would prefer to see Obama in the White House as opposed to McCain. It’s the same reason why they were so enamoured with Clinton. Nothing better (in the short run) for foreign exptremists than a weak US President, and nothing worse (in the long run) for the US!
