Moveon.org & the DNC: 100 Years of Stupid

The Stupid.

That one’s from the DNC, not MoveOn.org, but what’s the difference? Not to worry, though, moveon.org has released their own “100 years” strawman ad called “Candles.” Really, if this “100 years” strawman is the best they’ve got (and it appears to be their election strategy, along with “McSame” - LOL), I’m thinking we’ve got smooth sailing on the horizon. Obviously the libs really do believe voters are too stupid to figure out that it’s dishonest nonsense.

But for the libtards’ benefit (since they apparently are that stupid), a little fact checking is in order. Not that MoveOn or the DNC care about those pesky things called “facts.”

Please, Democrats, do stick with that strawman campaign!

Vote Democrat

Yikes. I’d hate to see the hanging chad from the voting process in that graphic.

If that’s the best they can throw against McCain with Obama’s flaps to work with, it will be a Republican year. Unfortunately I’m starting to see some numbers that are suggesting the Obama might not be such a done deal. If that’s the case, Hillary actually looks like a more formidible candidate, and it will be harder top these comments with any new gripes. She’s especially looking better after that O’Reilly interview. I hate to say it, but I think I’d rather have McCain facing Obama at this point.

OMG, that video is priceless!!! PWN3D by a kid!! ++++++

LB, ditto on Obama being easier than Hillary in November. Thankfully, I believe it’s a done deal - Billary is running for 2012 at this point.

While conventional wisdom would suggest that, Beth, there’s something the media hasn’t been covering but it’s a very interesting poll trend. I’ve been witnessing a trend in the polls that Obama is starting to lose North Carolina. Insider Advantage has him behind by 2 points there, and the rest of the agencies have him in single didget leads. Only Rasmussen still puts him with double-didget advantages. This could be a real shakeup.

Yeah, I think Barry’s momentum has shifted in the opposite direction (finally). I can’t imagine being a stupordelegate right now, knowing that if they go with Obama, they’re setting up for a loss, and if they go with Billary and give her the nomination, they’ll almost certainly lose a HUGE chunk of the Democratic base’s votes - and that could last longer than just this election. Billary can get the “bitter, clingy” voters, but she can kiss the youth and black votes goodbye, as well as at least some of the far left. (Go Nader!) Either way, they’re screwed.

This election is going to be really ugly, because all they can do to win is fight with dirty lies. Where they have an (huge) advantage is in money, and that does worry me. Still, as long as McCain sticks to an honorable campaign (and knowing him, he will) I think this is pretty close to being his to lose.
