Funny story about the Michigan congressional delegation. A couple years ago I was miffed about the price of gas because it had spiraled up to a whopping $2.50 a gallon (the horrors, I know). So, I hopped on my little keyboard here and started firing off letters to the entire Michigan House delegation, save Joe Knollenberg with whom I’m personally acquainted, demanding to know what they were doing about the steadily rising gas prices. I received only ONE reply. . . from the office of John Conyers. I may not agree with the man, but the rest of the Michigan delegation could sure learn a thing or two from him on dealing with angry constituents.

Incidently, this is not the first public fight to happen on the Detroit city council. A while back, and unfortunately I can’t find the video at present, there was a fight between Kay Everett and Sharon McPhail that was widely publicized. I can give you an article about it, though.
