Jeremiah Wright is totally clueless.

BAH. I just watched that Bill Moyers/Jeremiah Wright shit on PBS. He has no idea what people are complaining about, and he has no comprehension of why we’d object to anything he says. He needs to get out of his echo chamber if he cares at all about why people are disgusted. I don’t think he does care about what anyone thinks, though - not that he’s obligated to, but if he cares about Barry’s Presidential run and is going to go on a media tour, he’d better get educated fast. He keeps saying “it’s theology,” and that’s it. He doesn’t seem to understand that we know, and the more we know, the more we’re repelled by it.
Bill Moyers…LOL. I’m thinking he only got the interview because he must have agreed to toss softballs. Even funnier, he showed longer clips from Wright’s sermons (”God damn America” and “America’s chickens are coming home to roost,” to be specific), as though it would make everything different. PUHLEEZE. These people - Wright, Moyers, Obama, and all Obama’s sycophants - must think everyone is farkin’ stupid. Maybe they aren’t intelligent enough to realize there was context without seeing it, but most adults are. Sorry, but the context in which those things were said didn’t change what I found offensive AT ALL. In fact, “in context,” he built his case for saying those things.
Whatever, dude. That interview was a fully loaded C-5 of F A I L. I really tried to give the benefit of the doubt and/or see the good in what he was saying, but there wasn’t much to work with.
UPDATE: These two videos have the context in which “America’s chickens are coming home to roost” and “God damn America” was said–this is what Moyers showed (actually, he may have showed a little less). You tell me–this makes it all okay? Not. Even. Close. I laugh at the sycophants who think this changes everything. WHAT it changes, I have no idea. I guess they think that because he invoked the name of God it’s all correct? LOL.
This one is Wright’s “chickens.”
This one is the “God Damn America” rant. It is to laugh. It’s still “God damn America,” but it’s the extended version.
BTW, I found the video thanks to one of Obama’s fluffers over at Digg, who dumped the links in the comments and actually said, “this is what Fox is afraid you’ll see.” HAHA. Riiiiiight.
UPDATE 2: More from Hugh Hewitt (transcripts + audio).
Permit me to propose a new rule: If your mentor of 20 years has ever declared the United States to be ‘the same as al-Qaeda, under a different color flag, calling on the name a different God to sanction and approve our murder and our mayhem!’ you are ineligible for the Presidency.
Quote of the year!
Mostly unrelated: TC mentioned how light-skinned Wright is. I gave him John McCain’s hair and suit jacket (the original burned my eyes) and gave him a shave.

Sorry…dude looks white to me. YMMV.

Lord Bitememan says:
Actually, I wonder what he’d look like with Carrot Top’s hair.
Beth says:
Damn, that’s a good idea!
Old Iron says:
Maybe my nievity is comnig into play here, but the parents always told me to “say what you mean, mean what you say”, but I guess in an elitest society that rule no longer applies.
Wait, I’ve got it! I know how these elitist assholes can keep people from mis-interpreting their speeches! They need to publish a translation primer to what they are saying so that their words can be preperly understood by myself and the rest of the unwashed masses, thus eliminating all confusion.
-Either that or they could just STFU.
Beth says:
I vote they STFU.
They REALLY do not have the slightest clue. WE are the ones who are “misinterpreting” things, though. LOL.

The Rt Rev Pastor of Disaster looks about as black as me! So why aren’t these people mad at the other half of themselves??? That half is as guilty as I am of all that racial injustice.
BTW my cheap underwear should be getting a monthly check from the surrounding Tee-Pee Casinos as they are just Injun enough to keep creeping up from behind.
The Obama’s, Wright’s, and Moyers of the world have a couple different ways to go here they can act as though they are above the controversy and pretend they don’t see any problem and then when that does not work–or in tandem they can pull out that handy race card.
As for me, I’m buyin’ new underwear.
sierrahome says:
He’s as black as some of the folks around me are Injun–trying to get a monthly check from the Indian Casinos while he’s getting easy money using the Jesse Jackson Pay-Per-Scam plan. His new home in a gated community sure sounds “cracker”to me.
sierrahome says:
…This guy’s a poser–we gotta take the “guilt-gun” out of the hands of folks like these and explain to them once and for all to get with the program and if they don’t get it well then SCREW them…life is tough enough without being stupid.
sierrahome says:
Whew–third times the charm–my comments were going into blog hell somewhere and wouldn’t post.
TC says:
Wright is so far gone he has no idea where to fine reality anymore.
And I’m astounded that he has such a following. Bunch of suckers, they are. Either that or they’re a bunch of hateful bigots that live and die by the victimhood card.
There really isn’t any way a sane, logical, educated, and coherent individual can listen to Wright and take him credibly and/or seriously.

That gets you bigot O’ the day honors at the lib cocktail party of your choosing. It is this handy sack of cr@p along with his followers that need to look in the mirror and accept personal responsibility. The longer they put it off the deeper of a hole they will sometime have to dig out of. Money thrown at the problem doesn’t solve it, money buys bigger and better shovels.

jermiah wright is only saying what every black man in the u.s.a is thinking at the end of the day the government doesnt work for the black man but those who are blind will never see because they are concerned with young teenagers degrading themselves in magazines we as black man grow up in the worst conditions we basically fund the prison systems and people say were lazy its our fault but its really the same as 50 years ago if this country is the supreme power of the world the where was the justice fr amadou diallo sean bell emmett till and so many others yet wesly snipes was sentenced to 3 years for tax evasion gimmie a break and stop bringin up martin luther king he preached non violence but was killed by violence he is the ” white people hero” what about the balck panthers who built youth centers and rehab centers and protected they’re community from the same brutality the black man faces to day but know they were terrorist police killed students kent state it was a national tragedy but when they killed who black students down orange south carolina it was ok
Beth says:
Oh, Lord. Where to begin?
Anward, first of all: you absolutely don’t speak for “every black man in the USA,” and “every black man in the USA” does not think as Wright does. Maybe you need to broaden your horizons a bit, if you actually believe that.
Another thing: The government “doesn’t work” for the black man? Hey, what was your first clue? You’ll get no argument here! The government doesn’t “work for” ANY man. Maybe you’re asking the wrong questions of the government. Government is the problem, yes. So why do we keep giving the government more power over our destinies? Why would we WANT The Government, who has consistently failed, to take care of us? How about those great government-run and funded schools our kids go to, eh? Okay, maybe not “our” kids–I refuse to subject my daughter to the kind of
substandardabysmal “education” she’d get in the public school where I live. It’d be nice if instead of being forced to live on the brink of poverty myself (some would doubtless say I AM “poor”) I’d be able to choose where my daughter goes to school and what sort of school she goes to (public vs. private or parochial). But NO, The Government and its enablers (that would be the Democrats) don’t want me to have that choice, because the Teachers Union, who gives them their lifeblood (money) knows it’d put public schools under the gun and force schools to actually EDUCATE children.Remember Reagan? (Are you old enough to?) He said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’” I wonder, do you think Reagan was your enemy as well? Or do you simply say “President, white, omg Republican, must be bad.”
Moreover, I wonder if you actually know *any* white people. I mean other than the caricatures you “know” from teevee. It’s no wonder you feel as you do if you actually believe white people all think and work like that. Again, I’d suggest broadening your horizons a bit. We don’t bite, you know, and we don’t think “it’s ok” when injustices occur to anyone, and that includes black people. You’re talking to me as though I’m all white people, when you say “stop talking about MLK” and that he’s the “white people’s hero” - WTF is that? (Actually, he isn’t. I believe that’s just what some people want you to think, because they’re sucking up to Black America. Just my opinion - and I suspect my opinion on that isn’t so different from yours. But I digress.) You wonder why you aren’t treated with respect? I mean YOU, Anward, not “you” as in “all black men.” YOU. You aren’t treating others with respect as individuals, and apparently that’s what you think everyone else does as well. Maybe I’m wrong, but it sure sounds like it.
For God’s sake - no, for YOUR sake - please, look for solutions. You’re looking for someone to blame, not someone to lead the way. You aren’t going to E V E R get wholesale change in the way things are overnight; there is no “revolution.” You want change, you do it one person at a time, and you do that by assuming good faith where you can. Please, drop your assumptions of guilt first if you want anyone to listen to you and give you a fair hearing.
And by the way, that’s why people don’t want to hear Rev. Wright - he assigns guilt to all white people AND all blacks (and anyone else) who don’t fall in line with his thinking first. Would you listen to someone talking shit about how malicious black people are? Sorry, but all I really want to say to Wright and his ASSumptions about me is a big “fuck you.” Wouldn’t you do the same? I mean, we ARE all human.
