“Just Words”

LOL. Blue on blue!
Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign wants everyone to see a campaign speech made in 2006 by Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick just before he won that office and a recent speech by Sen. Barack Obama.
In his speech Patrick responded to the charge by his opponent that he was a fine speaker capable of tossing off inspirational words but not a politician with results. All words no action.
Patrick responded by uttering some of the most famous words of American history: “We hold these truths to be self-evident” and “We have a dream” and saying, repeatedly, they were “just words” too. A very effective comeback.
So effective, in fact, that last night Obama used a similar formulation in Wisconsin two nights ago as you can see from the YouTube video.
Ohhhhhbama, I’m gonna faint!

Oh, this is great! I love watching the left eat their own. What’s even better is that if Hillary manages to slime Obama enough to pull this out there will be a lot of mad Obama supporters who will not support her.
Break out some cold ones, pop some popcorn and watch the show.

Frickin mudslinging, I hate it, on both sides. Anyone remember the last time we had a calm, reflective election where nobody got slandered, libeled or insulted…? Yeah, I’m thinking back to Monroe’s campaign for a second term, that’s probably the only one. ever. Sheesh.

Speaking of mudslinging, did you hear about Michelle Obama’s statement to the effect this is the first time in her adult life that she has been proud of her country.

Sometimes I think that Michelle is going to be almost as big a problem for Barack and Bill is for Hillary. First she wants us to save our souls and vote for Obama, the only guy that can make us pure or some such silliness and now we hear that her pride in her country is a newfound thing.
