Okay, I do have something…I’m just busy with other stuff, and there’s too much going on to bother writing about everything.
Dish some dirt about Hillary or Obama in the comments or something. Here’s something hilarious for you in the meantime. And in case you need another reason to vote Republican, here.

I think it’s to point out all the idiots deifying the Empty Suit. I hope so, anyway. But yeah, the fact that people make him out to be some kind of messiah is disturbing, to put it mildly. Kinda makes me think of Hitler (if you’ll pardon me for breaking Godwin’s Law).

He’s made “hope,” “believe,” and “change” into dirty words, or at least into tired words worthy of the deepest suspicion. Frankly, the more they love him, the more I’m tempted to hate him. It’s not a personal hatred, because, though I find him arrogant and deceptive in the worst way, I don’t pretend to know him personally - it’s just the product of revulsion. He’s much worse than Hillary: worse for his followers, potentially much worse for the country if his wave doesn’t break until after he’s elected, if fate intrudes somehow and gives him the presidency, or even if he’s beaten, but beaten ugly.
I still think (or hope, or believe) that phenomena such as the one that’s built up around him are subject to relatively sudden deflation. Just the right prick of the right pin and the balloon can burst - maybe something as banal as the new phony fainting speculation taking on a life of his own. Hubris like his is always struck down sooner or later - I just hope he takes as few of the rest of us down with him as possible.
At least skepticism about his campaign has, finally, begun to spread, and no one knows yet whether he can recover if and when the enthusiasm begins to wilt, perhaps under combined assault from Hillary’s late offensive, the dissemination of skeptical articles and messages, and the set of memes going around about him - empty suit, pied piper, Trojan Horse, phony, cult leader. McCain made a contribution the other night with the attack on misuse of the word “hope.” It was delivered very conversationally, but it was actually quite devastating if you listened closely. Maybe that kind of message is more effective if put into the national dialogue that way.
The downside is that, whatever the polls say, Obama may actually be easier to beat, and that, if Hillary somehow recovers, it will make her a more formidable candidate, but personally I’d rest a lot easier if it was just her vs. McCain.

Just also wanted to say - I wasn’t criticizing the site or your linking to it. I kind of virtually know the proprietor, think she’s done a great job (I think she’s a she), and admire her for having been ahead of the curve on the phenomenon.
