Team Clinton, in a bold move to seize the mantle of change, is turning to the youthful and appealing combination of James Carville and Paul Begala to revive Hill’s tanking campaign.
But the sense is that Clinton will have to radically restructure her campaign, and it does now appear that the process is likely to begin with a move to put Carville and Begala is charge of an organization that had been led by Mark Penn, Clinton’s senior strategist, and Patty Solis Doyle, Clinton’s campaign manager.
In case you were wondering, this would seem to indicate that the Clinton campaign is about to go even more negative; at best a very high-risk strategy given the aura of post-partisan serenity that Obamessiah has managed to cultivate for himself. I suppose they have little choice given how far Hill has fallen (and how fast), but you can’t help thinking that this will produce lasting schisms in the Democrat party that might impact their turnout in the general election - I can’t imagine many diehard Obamaniacs will feel like voting for a candidate who is at best calling their guy an incompetent boob.
We can but hope. Do it Hill, get nasty baby! Hiring the two most unprincipled and venal men in liberal politics is certainly a great place to start.

You say that as though it’s a bad or inaccurate thing. I think “incompetent boob” is a pretty apt descriptor for teh Obamessiah. ;)
Of course, there’s no shortage of descriptors for

Oh, great- Snakehead is back, now I’ll have to be sure to leave my TV on mute. I’m still tired of the Cajun gibberish from the last 8 years of the Clinton machine.
