Self-loathing stupid Israeli moonbat of the day
Liberals are stupid. It doesn’t matter where they are. They’re just stupid.
Today’s stupid liberal joins us from Israel, where she has written a Doctoral thesis positing reasons for the low incidence of rape by IDF soldiers. The reason is that they’re racists, and see Palestinian women as beneath them.
This remarkable conclusion could only be reached by a stupid liberal. It’s pretty impressive stuff, even by the laughably low standards that stupid liberals normally follow.
The next sentence delineates the particular goals that are realized in this manner: “In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, it can be seen that the lack of military rape merely strengthens the ethnic boundaries and clarifies the inter-ethnic differences - just as organized military rape would have done.”
So raping strengthens ethnic boundaries, and so does not raping? How does that work, Professor?
The paper further theorizes that Arab women in Judea and Samaria are not raped by IDF soldiers because the women are de-humanized in the soldiers’ eyes.
Here’s an alternative theory: The IDF don’t rape Palestinians on a widespread basis because it is comprised of average law-abiding Israelis that would consider raping anybody abhorrent. Maybe?

I just do not get the Liberal mind. It is absent of any kind of reasoning and logic. This is a pathetic person who has nothing better to do than to write about how bad the IDF is but doesn’t even think that they don’t rape because it is abhorrent and should not be done by anybody. I’m the first to admit that I know very little about the IDF code of military conduct, and why they behave one way or another, but I guess that they are well trained, disciplined and conduct themselves with honor. That someone should write a paper trying to explain why the IDF don’t rape seems distracting and pointless.
However, it is wrong to try to paint this sort of thinking as symptomatic to the liberal mind. This person is as isolated in his/her point of view as someone on the fringe right. As a liberal minded person, I don’t buy into the premise at all.

I could swear that everything else I’ve ever read says that men who rape do so because they see their victims as less than human– the same lack of empathy that permits psychopaths to kill, torture, enslave, etc.

They don’t rape them because Jews see the Palis as beneath them, so the Jews are racists (in liberal parlance).
But if they did rape them, it would be because Jews see the Palis as beneath them and less then human. And again the Jews would be racists in addition to rapists.
How about this instead: They don’t rape Palis because Jews are moral, ethical, and operate by a code of conduct that the liberal mind can’t grasp or understand.

As a Captain in the IDF (Reserve) I can tell you all that the very idea of rape is abhorrent to all of our soldiers. In addition our frontline units are co-ed.
