Christmas is near!

And not so coincidentally, that’s the name of the new theme I just loaded here, thanks to the generosity of the brilliant Nicki (an Alabama sister!) at Nitallica.org. Do me a favor–vote for Nicki’s free Wordpress Christmas theme here, please!

Thank YOU, Nicki! I was already bored with the theme I was using and I really wanted to keep a Christmas theme–I was just using Cutline with some kludged-together Christmas images! Boooooring. :D

BTW, I had originally wanted to use a winter theme that you had done a couple years ago, but it doesn’t work with WP 2.3, so this is perfect! I hate scrounging around the internets for specific themes because at least half the time people don’t test them in IE and the other half of the time they’ve got a thousand sponsored links in them (and sometimes they’ve got both issues)! Ptui!

Beth, without question–it IS the best one–hands down! I mean that. Really! Very Nice. And I notice that I can see everything without the right side of the site blocking the center. I got the ol IE6.
