Hippies Try to Take on Eagles in Washington

Code Pink, et el were going to do a ‘Die In’ at the capital this weekend to protest the Battle for Iraq. Nobody seemed to be able to find any of them dying. Kat at CatHouse Chat got one photo of a couple of them ‘dead’, but they may have just been passed out from the partying the night before. No one is sure. From the looks of the picture it doesn’t look like anyone was noticing or cared much.
The Cotillion was proud to be represented on the Eagle side of things by Kat and Beth at She Who Will be Obeyed. Girls with Pearls are tough as nails!

Hey, dearheart! Thanks so much for the link, but I’m trying to find the ONE pic I saw from one of our bloggers which did have a pile of the ‘bats doing the “die-in”… I never saw it, but since I’m fairly non-confrontational, I didn’t wade into the cesspool very far.
However, some of my buddies were there for a long time before I got there (remember, I was chatting with the delightful Sovereigns of Casle Arrggh! for a food while after the march went past the Navy Memorial), and they didn’t see anything, either.
Wild Bill and FIAR are *far* more aggressive than I, and if they didn’t see anything, then my assumption is that the “die-in” only lasted long enough for a brief photo-op… That’s my theory, make of it what you will. I will see if I can find that other photo!
