Even Rolling Stone Slams Moveon.org Over Outrageous NYT ad

You never now what is over the line for people. Rolling Stone is slamming Moveon.org for the outrageous ad they placed in the New York Times today.
For God’s sake, it’s not even clever. A bad pun driving a despicable message.
Listen: General Petraeus may well be carrying water for the Bush administration — I’ll reserve judgment until his microphone starts working. And let me be clear: He is every bit a target of legitimate criticism.
But to impugn the patriotism of a man who is doing what the commander in chief has asked him to do — try to win the war in Iraq — is as despicable as Dick Cheney questioning the patriotism of those Americans who want us to redeploy from Iraq.
MoveOn is practicing a mirror image of Sean Hannity politics. And it deserves all the criticism it is reaping this morning.
Now, I don’t agree with everything they wrote - but I love the fact they are slapping moveon into next week!

You spelled it wrong. It’s MoreOn.org.
:OMG:
Scott says:
Phuck Rolling Stone magazine.
And yes, like Dick Cheney, I do question the patriotism of any American who uses the catch word “redeploy” in reference to our troops fighting the enemy in Iraq.
In my opinion, Rolling Stone magazine is worse than moveon.orgy. At least with moveon.orgy you know up front where George Soros & Company is coming from and where they stand on defining issues. The garbage that Rollingstone magazine passes off as journalism has been poisoning the minds of our youth for decades with America Self-Guilt, Anti Capitalism, and Anti Republican bullshit propaganda. If I was out of toilet paper and the pages of an issue of Rolling Stone Magazine were my only option, I’d rather do without.
Scott says:
And I resent the hell out of Rolling Stone magazine for their blatant attempt to corner the Rock n Roll industry into the arena of the Neo-Marxist Left of American politics. I, as a lover of Rock n Roll, am an American Capitalist -Pro Constitution- through and through. There are many more just like me who they chose to isolate and ignore. Phuck them!
Over the years, Rolling Stone magazine has carefully prepared and amply paved the road that moveon.orgy now occupies.

You know you screwed up (from a lefty point of view) when Rolling Stone is crying foul. And to add to Scott’s comments about Rolling Stone; while they’re criticizing moveon.org, have they looked in the mirror?
