Video of Haditha to be Used as Evidence in Marine’s Trial

Teach, at The Pirate’s Cove posted the video below from CNN that shows the battle that the Marines were engaged in that day in Haditha. This battle was just before John ‘The Saboteur’ Murtha decided to use this incident as a stepping stone to raise his profile as a Congressman in hopes of becoming the House Leader one day.

The part of this video that bothers me is the last statement made by the military judge viewing the video:
“It be would be difficult to say justice has been served if no one is convicted in Haditha,” he said.
What does that mean? Is he saying someone has to take a fall for this regardless of what happened there? The video shows a battle. Our Marines were fighting. People were killed. This is war. Why exactly does someone have to take a fall for this incident when it has been proved that the charges against the Marines were fabricated by our enemy, al-Qaeda? Do we know that al-Qaeda operatives didn’t kill these people themselves?
Then I saw this video that still refers to the Haditha incident as a scandal that has harmed the reputation of the American military.
Give me a break.
There are people out there who believe that Haditha is a Mei Lei -type incident regardless of the facts involved. They believe it simply because a United States Congressman got up and made accusations against the Marines and it was widely covered in the old media. The fact that the Marines have since been acquitted is not making the news to the same degree and The Saboteur Murtha has apparently forgotten about his statements two years ago that resulted in eight Marines being imprisoned at Camp Pendleton for two years awaiting court martial.
Shame on you John Murtha - SHAME ON YOU!!!!

I think you’ll find some contradictions of how he treated Kerry and how he judges the Haditha Marines.

He’s right to an extent. Someone does need to pay. Al-Q and their enablers need to pay, not innocent Marines.
