GREAT article by a Montana mom who fights the jihad from her home, on teh internets. Her work has actually gotten one man sentenced to five life terms for treason, and other terrorists have been caught.

Wubi takes the hassle out of installing Ubuntu on a loopback file system located on your Windows partition, while making it bootable just like a real-deal Ubuntu install. In fact, it _is_ a real-deal Ubuntu install.

Hey, Beth, question: have you tried searching “paultard” on Yahoo lately? Check out the first link :)
On Dogpile, it is #4. Alta Vista, #1. MSN #2
I’m thinking that from now on, should be Ron “Paultard” Paul, with the whole thing linked to Paul’s website. Heh!

This is a great idea, except that it defeats one of the great advantages of Linux. i.e. that you can run Linux when your Windoz does BSODs or won’t boot, etc. It is not difficult to put linux in a separate partition, called dual-boot, then when you boot your ‘puter, you select which OS (Windoz or Linux) you want to use. You can also access your windoz files from Linux, & continue working.
I have used Linux to go into my windoz files, pull out Word files into OpenOffice. org in Linux, edit the files, save the edited files back into my windoz ‘My documents’ folder. Later when I fixed problems in windoz, I opened the files in Word & there were the edits, all bright & shiny!!
I’ve also done this with spreadsheets, powerpoint presentations, scanned images, music files, graphics, etc.
This is why I don’t want my Linux installation trapped in windoz. Linux has made my ‘puter life so much easier, plus I know that except for hardware disasters, I WILL be able to get booted up & on the innertoobes, no matter what! This is how ‘puter use is ’sposs to be! FWIW :cheese:
