:dog: Thanks again, BethC, for another great linky list! :D
You were right on about the WinXP link!
One of the best I’ve seen!
I’m gonna have to setup a separate drive with WinXP just to experiment with & test all these fixes, patches, mods, configs plus helper & utility apps. Then I’ll have to create a binder & print out pages for each of these tweaks after I test them.
This should enable me to build up enough WinXP smarts to actually accomplish something. (Ha!)
What’s most fun with a messed up Windoze installation, is to pop in a Linux live-CD
& proceed to pull Windoze pants down & have my way with Windoz files. :2orly: Like if windows won’t boot, using linux to replace the master boot file. Wish I new more about this, but there’s lots of good Windoz hacking info on teh intertoobs.
Cheers, Still mostly code clueless Lance
:clueless: :monkey: ;)

Yay! Glad you can use it!
That’s a good idea, making a binder for all your stuff. It’s something I’ve ALWAYS planned on doing (for years!) but I’m so unorganized I always ended up with a pile of unsorted paper instead! (Of course, now my damn printer’s broken, so…)
