Sen. Jeff Sessions on immigration bill: “He needs to back off.”

Senator Jeff Sessions on CNN today (grrrr) yesterday, about the renewed push for the immigration bill:
Most of the time people email our elected leaders complaining about something. Why not send a quick message to Senator Sessions to tell him how you appreciate his fight against this dumb immigration bill? You know, positive reinforcement. Re-stock his ammunition, so to speak. ;-)
By the way, have you noticed how LONG it’s taking lately to get uploaded YouTube videos live for viewing/posting lately? I uploaded this at like 7pm and it’s only now ready to post! WTF?! And now I find that Hot Air has it anyway? Argh. Guess I’ll start loading videos elsewhere, especially since YouTube booted my old account last week. Bastards.

Jeff Sessions is da’man. I’m going to email him and thank him for his stance and thank him for not being like that disgraceful Senator I helped elect - Martinez. Oh the shame I feel over that.

What a nice resume!
“Prior to being nominated to federal court, Sessions had unsuccessfully prosecuted three civil rights workers (including Albert Turner, a former aide to Martin Luther King, Jr), on a case of election fraud for the 1984 election. Sessions spent hours interrogating black voters in predominantly black counties, finding only 14 allegedly tampered ballots out of the more than 1.7 million ballots cast. The three civil rights workers were acquitted after four hours of jury deliberation.[3]
During his nomination to federal court, it was revealed that Sessions had once labeled the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) “un-American,” “Communist-inspired,” and had said that they “forced civil rights down the throats of people.” At his confirmation hearings, Sessions said that the groups could be un-American when “they involve themselves in un-American positions” in foreign policy.[3] Sessions also stated about the Ku Klux Klan, “I used to think they’re OK,” until he learned that some Klan members were “pot smokers”. Sessions claims he was joking or misunderstood.[5]
On September 9, 2005, after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, Sessions called his former law professor, Harold Apolinsky, co-author of Sessions’ legislation repealing the federal estate tax, which had lost momentum in Congress, and left a voicemail: “[Arizona Sen.] Jon Kyl and I were talking about the estate tax. If we knew anybody that owned a business that lost life in the storm, that would be something we could push back with.”[6]
Sessions was one of only nine opponents of Senator John McCain’s anti-torture amendment. Sessions supports Vice President Dick Cheney’s proposal to exempt the CIA from any ban on torture.
Sessions has long been a supporter of federalism including opposition to parts of the Voting Rights Act, which he described as a “piece of intrusive legislation”.[3] In 2006 he was in favor of letting it expire, and also said that Congress should consider if it was needed in some northern cities and states.[7] He later voted in favor of extending it.[8][9]”

James, you ignorant putz. Only a farking lazy, ignorant idiot quotes Wikipedia. Or more to the point, only a LEFTARD idiot quotes Wikipedia on political issues. Ever notice that “our side” doesn’t? DUH. It’s because Wikipedia is an infamous joke on politics.
Are you aware that that article was copied almost VERBATIM from a left-wing political organization’s own wiki? (I’m sure that’s A-OK with you, though.) I am, because I TRIED TO work with the fascists there, arguin that it violated WP’s “NPOV” policy (as do 99% of the other political articles there, in one way or another and to varying degrees). I say “argue” in the correct way, unlike “argue” like an asshole like you. Not that facts and evidence matter to those dishonest activists–I was simply outnumbered by the Wikipedia Politburo of political editors, and I don’t have the time or inclination to spend day and night fighting bias in Wikipedia. If you were the least bit honest and knowledgeable about Wikipedia, you would know this. But you don’t. You fail.
And why, you ask, would I even bother with that particular article? It’s because Senator Sessions isn’t just my Senator, he’s from my hometown, and I’ve known of Sessions far longer tha you have, dear “expert” Wikipedia reader. What you see there at WP is SO FAR from an accurate description of him that it is virtually unrecognizable. Even the language used with all the weasel words is so transparently anti-Sessions it’s laughable. But that’s why you used it, isn’t it!
Thanks for pointing out to my readers (AGAIN) what I already know and have written about in the past, though!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!
:1logic:
Tool.
