Caucus of Corruption

Hey, have you clicked that Blogad over on the sidebar?

I just got my copy of Caucus of Corruption in the mail today–yay!

From the book (page 11):

This book tells the side of the story that Democrats ignore and the mainstream media refuses to tell. It is the story of a political party that has long been given a free pass by the media for their illegal an unethical ways. It is a story that must be told if real reform is to happen. The truth will come out, much to the distress of the dishonest Democrats who have tried to pass off their alleged moral and ethical superiority as conventional wisdom.

And we’re starting at the top, with our new House speaker, Nancy Pelosi.

Caucus of Corruption: The Truth about the New Democratic MajorityThis scrutiny is long overdue. Just after a quick skim, I’ve read some examples of outrageous corruption about which I’d never heard a peep in the media. You have to look for this stuff; you really won’t find any of these kinds of things plastered all over the front pages like you do when there’s corruption on the (R) side–or even just accusations of Republican corruption. Not that this is a book excusing crooked pols on our side–it certainly is not. As they said, it tells the side that we’re not being told in the mainstream media. Obviously, if there’s ever going to be any reform in Washington politics, all the corruption must be exposed.

Go on, check it out. I’m not saying that because I consider Matt Margolis a friend, either–I do, but this is an important issue that needs to be addressed.

Howard Dean’s Idea of Fairness

On December 28, 2003, then-presidential candidate Howard Dean said of Osama bin Laden…“I’ve resisted pronouncing a sentence before guilt is found… I still have this old-fashioned notion that even with people like Osama, who is very likely to be found guilty, we should do our best not to…prejudge jury trials.” On May 14, 2005, Howard Dean, now chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), said that just-indicted House Majority Leader Tom DeLay “…ought to go back to Houston where he can serve his jail sentence.” The indictment of DeLay was questionable, at best, and Delay had not even been given a trial date, let alone convicted…. In other words: According to the chairman of the Democratic Party, terrorists deserve due process, Republicans do not. (p. xi)

By the way, you should see the vandalism at the Amazon page. You know you’ve struck a nerve when the moonbats go to leave “reviews” (I use the term loosely) of a book they haven’t (and never will) read. Funny how they do this on a book about Democrat dishonesty and a lack of ethics! The vandalism they regularly do at Amazon could add another chapter about their ethics to the book!
