Best comment I’ve seen around teh intarweb, in response to Ron Paul’s idiotic bullshi’ite about Iraq:
“I’d feel the same way if we had 20 Chinese bases in the U.S. patroling us.”
If Saddam Hussein became the dictator of the United States and instituted rape rooms, human plastic shredders, and the occasional use of cyanide gas in Washington D.C., feel free to argue about imperialism, but I’d welcome the Chinese with open arms.

I think Duncan Hunter won, actually, for his energy last night and for pushing the war-on-the-home-front mentality that we so sorely lack. But I’m still backing Giuliani, seeing as he knows the difference between a Sunni and a Shiite, and being mayor of New York means dealing with all the nation’s problems (minus, say, agriculture) in one bite-sized chunk.
I don’t think anyone can argue with Giuliani’s smackdown of Ron Paul as the line of the night, though Tancredo’s Jack Bauer thing was good.

Well, a quick look at the transcript shows that when I say Hunter, I mean Huckabee. Name recognition could be a hurdle, apparently.
