A Huge Sigh Of Relief

I haven’t been around much lately (like anyone noticed).

The reason being is that I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately, and that funk has been directly tied to the news that France was possibly, then probably, then definitely, electing a pro-U.S. president.

I realize that should be good news, but to me, it wasn’t. You see, the first words out of my mouth weren’t “mama” or “dada,” but “Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey.”

However, thanks to the brilliant Buckley F. Williams, I can now focus my irreverent loathing to the northeast on Europe’s map.

I now can use the phrase “Waffle Eating Surrender Monkeys.”

I’m going to sleep well tonight for the first night in days.

    I did hear that France’s terror alert levels are a little different than ours…
    Theirs (in order from lowest to highest level):

    Run
    Hide
    Surrender
    Collaborate

    Wonder if that will change…..
