Fred Thompson: “What You Need to Know” About His Cancer
Tags: Fred Thompson, cancer, lymphoma, 2008
You may have heard about Fred Thompson having indolent lymphoma (IN REMISSION). You need read what he and Dr. Bruce Cheson, a hematologist/oncologist have to say. Thompson has written about it today at Red State. Excerpt:
I have had no illness from it, or even any symptoms. My life expectancy should not be affected. I am in remission, and it is very treatable with drugs if treatment is needed in the future–and with no debilitating side effects.
I’ll emphasize again that his cancer is IN REMISSION, and it’s presumed it will NOT affect his life expectancy due to the type of lymphoma he has.
If you missed it, Senator Thompson made his blogging debut at Red State on Saturday. Go read it!
UPDATE: Thompson will be on Neil Cavuto’s show on Fox at 4pm EST. Sorry, no DVR/Tivo here, but I’m sure someone will have it (Hot Air? YouTube?).
