BANNED in China!

Not that I’m surprised–it is China, and they don’t even have real Google–but I can now say with certainty that MVRWC is banned in the two most populous nations on the planet! (China and India.)

If you are using the Bad Behavior plugin (which is a must, BTW), turn it off for the test–but don’t forget to turn it back on when you’re finished!

    Actually, I consider the India ban more noteworthy, because China’s commie. India’s supposed to be “the world’s largest democracy,” but apparently “democracy” doesn’t always equal “freedom from stupidity.” ;-)

    There is a guy in China who wrote some software that avoids the government filters — I think he is in prison now — not sure how popular his software is in China, but I would guess pretty popular.

    Don’t you just love it? Two of the most populous countries in the world, and we are banned.

    Now, if only we could get banned in Iran. Just got doing a proxy IP check of you, me, Hooah Wife, Basil, Ogre, and a few others, no problemo in Iran. Sigh.
