The Academy Awards’ Best Picture
Errr, best photo. From Drudge:

No comment on the awards; I really couldn’t give less of a shi’ite about them. I see Manbearpig won for some propaganda flick–surprise, surprise. YAWN. Anyway, Hot Air has The Oscar Thread, if you’re interested.
I watched the Fox News Half-Hour “Comedy” Hour, and it was awful. Painful. Complete with cheesy canned laugh tracks and everything. What a waste of airtime. Following that was Michelle Malkin and Kirsten Powers’ new show about blogs, and it was pretty good. None of the usual yelling and shi’ite that occurs on talking head shows. I still think Red Eye is the best show on Fox News now, though. They ought to put that on instead of that crap Half-Hour “Comedy” Hour (scare quotes mine), but I guess it’s better that Red Eye’s on seven nights a week rather than just once. They oughta put Dennis Miller in the HHCH slot, if they want teh funny on the news.

Have they ever taken a picture of Al Gore that doesn’t make him look constipated? Cripes.
It’s not as though the Academy has any credibility left anyway. After that Bowling for Columbine travesty in 03, we all knew that Gore was going to win Best Documentary.
Beth says:
STG it looks like he’s trying to shi’ite out an 18-wheeler.
Al Gore: terminally full of shi’ite.
No shi’ite? Bowling for Columbine won an award? See? I NEVER watch that shi’ite. I don’t think I could tell you any movie that’s won in the last ten years.
I wonder if United 93 was even nominated. Probably not.
Bill says:
My only problem with RedEye is the hour at which it is presented. I think it’s great that they have Rachel Marsden, who is one of my favorite conservative babes.
I checked in on the Oscars show and checked out on the propaganda. Van Helsing was on, and gave a much more pleasing alternative.
Hmmm… Oscars vs. vampires. Maybe not so different.
Chris says:
Manbearpig! One of my favorite episodes. Too funny. Did anyone watch his speech? Did he blame America for everyone’s woes?
Martin says:
Fuckit, fuckit. You beat me to the punch - there’s a hilarious Drudge link to a piece on Politico about how this catapults Gore into frontrunner status. Because he won an award from a room full of liberals, on a show watched by less people than see Survivor?
They’re farking nuts.
Chris says:
True Martin, but we’ve known that. I heard some libtard on the radio saying that Gore could beat the rep nominee since he received more votes in 2000. No one reminded this person of Al’s latest ravings and that he’s considered a lunatic by the sensible majority. Dan Quayle could beat him now. Please Al, run.

A room of self-congratulatory idiots, and no one thought to gas the joint?

I know! What is up with Fox News Channel doing comedy? Leave the laughs to Comedy Central
