White House Press Briefing Question of the Day

Via the comments at Hot Air, from yesterday:
Q Tony, could I go to a domestic — two domestic questions?
MR. SNOW: Yes, you may.
Q I’ll yield to anybody else.
I have never heard you or any of your 10 predecessors — whom I have covered at that podium — use the obscene words for feces, fornication, semen, anus, and vagina, all of which words were used publicly by Melissa McEwan, who is still on the John Edwards presidential campaign staff because he refused to fire her. And my question, first: Surely the President would never put up with such public obscenity like former Senator Edwards is doing, would he?
MR. SNOW: Well, I don’t know about that, but the President expects his aides to behave in a seemly manner.
Ouch! Not exactly the way I’d want my name to be mentioned in a WH press briefing! That’s when you know your resignation is overdue.
I will add: the hate mail she and the nutcase Amanda are getting is sickening, some of which is worse than any of the foulest stuff either have written. For some unknown reason, Amanda (no linky from me!) thinks the people writing the hate mail to her are devout Christians. Obviously she’s wrong, but at least in her and her readers’ minds, perception is reality. (Who ARE these morons who write that kind of hate mail?)
