Coup D’Etat in the making?

Cheesehead leftist Russ Feingold doesn’t think much of the Constitution, apparently.
This President is going to have to get nasty with the Dhimmicrats, and probably quite soon.
The subcommittee’s chairperson, Senator Russ Feingold, said he would introduce a bill on Wednesday prohibiting the use of funds for the war six months after enactment.
Good luck sweetheart, the last time your party did this, they ended up as the traitor party for twenty years. The need to parade one’s reflexive pacifism and hatred for one’s own country, though, seemingly remains a toxic brew for those on the left.
“Today we’ve heard convincing testimony and analysis that Congress has the power to stop the war if it wants to,” said Feingold, a Wisconsin Democrat.
Stop the war? You can only do that if the enemy concurs. And they don’t.
Oh and by the way, read the bit about ‘Commander-in-Chief’ in the United States Constitution, if you get a moment.

Scrapiron says:
I can’t believe we have this many really stupid and dangerous people in congress but Feingold and his coharts prove that we do. This nation is in serious trouble and won’t last another 10 years if it stays on the cowardly path. I predicted that the U.S. would be a third world country by 2020 years ago. I revise my estimate, we’ll be a third world country long before 2015. The slaughter of people in Africa will be tame compared to the slaughter of dhimmi’s in this country when that happens.
William Teach says:
Oh, come now, you don’t actually expect Defeatocrats to read the Constitution, now, do you? It is all a piece of reich wing propaganda, designed to make the poor poorer and the rich richer, as well as inhibit our civil liberties and freedom. To follow the Constitution would allow States to determine Abortion on Demand. It would allow the People to have guns. It would stop legislating from the bench. And you know that it would empower Big Oil and “harm the children.”
Besides, reading it would get in the way of creating really snappy fables.
Sylkione says:
Exactly which “President” would that be?
You certainly can’t be talking about Mr Compassionate Conservatism.
Jamie Zappa says:
We have a deadly combination here. Name-calling and low content = dismissive, incurious, meaningless rants. Your politics is nothing but slogans and bombastic statements about shi’ite you dont even understand. You guys realize the rest of the country is tired of hard liners like yourselves right, and that we’re all laughing at you? Stop pretending that stubbornness = certitude, cuz it doesn’t.
Pick up a book about Grand Strategy or 4th gen warfare, ie. Barnett, Fukuyama, Huntington, or Xammes and stop reading Malkin and other partisan crap. Good luck, hopefully we can someday have a reasonable discussion about networked tribes, GGs, 4th gen, and nation building, rather than “dhimmicrats”

Being from Wisconsin, I want to start by saying I didn’t vote for either Feingold or Kohl. Having said that, I almost hope Feingold and the rest get their bill passed. Perhaps, (and, I know, I’m asking a lot) JUST perhaps, if the bill passes, people will finally be awakened to the fact that the Democratic party is a full-blown anti-American batch of self-serving, pompous, arrogant, weak-kneed, slack-jawed, ass-kissing sycophants.
Like MLK, I have a dream. This is it.

First time caller, huh?
LOL. It’s a blog, not a position paper. Lighten the fuck up. And for the record, you missed Boyd, Poole, and others I’ve also read. Not that it matters, because THIS BLOG IS NOT ABOUT 4GW or anything like that.
Don’t like it? Go somewhere else.
Philosopher: Amen!

And while you’re at it Russ-ty… Tell Specter to keep his trap shut. Yeah, I missed the part about the Congress-in-chief in my Civics classes.
William Teach says:
Jamie, I wonder if you have anything factual or politically relevant to add, rather then standard left wing paranoia and ad hominem attacks.
Ah, who am I kidding. Of course a liberal wouldn’t have facts, and certainly couldn’t engage in adult conversation.
raz0r says:
Teach, why let facts get in the way. It’s so much better to take a stand based on feelings and unsubstantiated rhetoric. And if JZ thinks we’re hard liners, boy has he (she?) have a lot to learn.
timothy bond says:

William Teach says:
Hey, Timmy, at least we can spell and use proper punctuation. You aren’t even worthy of a proper response, asking whether you have facts to back up your hysterical rants.
William Teach says:
PS: f’ing wackjob!
Martin says:
