I got tag-teamed: The Christmas Meme

Tags: ,

Argh. OK, since both SniperOne and SWWBO Beth have tagged me, here goes! (I’ve also got another one with which I’ve been tagged that I’ll do next…only ’cause he’s a master anti-spam ninja and a (funny!) fellow member of the VRWC.) ;-)

Here are the rules:

Ok, this is how it works: The player (me) must list 3 things that I would love to get for Christmas. Then I must list 3 things that I definitely do not want to get for Christmas. Then I tag 5 friends and list their names. The one I tag needs to write on their blogs about their Christmas wishes then tag 5 more people. They must also clarify all the rules. When you tag someone you need to leave a comment that says “you’’ve been Christmas tagged!” in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

What I would love to get for Christmas:
1. An Extreme Home Makeover, but not have to be on teevee–or at a more realistic level, for someone to completely organize all the stuff in my house and make it spotlessly clean. Seriously. A maid to come once or twice a week would be nice.

2. I want my car to work. I’m not even asking for a new car (although I’d love one); I just want my car to STOP being a problem.

3. Good health and happiness: for my daughter and all those I love, for my friends, and for those who serve in uniform. (Good health for me would be nice, too.)

(If I have to pick material things: a new gun, a digital SLR camera, or money.)

What I DO NOT want for Christmas:
1. More car trouble.

2. A tumor/cancer.

3. Violence against Americans and our friends at home and abroad.

(Material things again? I guess something I already have. Otherwise, it’s the thought that counts.)

OK, five people that won’t kill me for tagging them:

Martin (haha!), Vinnie (who will probably kill me anyway, but I don’t care ’cause his will be funny), Merri, Chrissie, and…Jody (so she’ll post something on her blog!). OK, since Martin will be off snarking on celebritards in South Beach and might not get to it…Sandmonkey, ’cause it’s his blog-birthday! (So what if he’s not a Christian?) Happy blog-day, Sandmonkey!

By the way, go thank a mailman for all his hard work lately. I know I’ve put my mailman through some back-straining work lately, since I did ALL my shopping online.

Beth Meme’d Me…and It Was MESSY! | MY Vast Right Wing Conspiracy says:

[...] So my dear buddy Beth meme’d me with a Christmas Meme! Since I’m easily influenced (by the right people…oh, and the right drink..ha!) I’ve decided to comply with Beth’s wishes and put this up on her place (thanks for the idea Vinnie, my love!). Wheeeeee….put it up at Beth’s is kinda like cheating, but I’ll blame Vinnie. Beth has no choice but to understand. Heh. [...]
