- More idiocy from Debbie Schlussel, if you can stand it. A Bush judicial nominee is BAD because he once attended a lesbian wedding. I’m not kidding. And Sam Brownback and Mitt Romney aren’t conservative. Not kidding about that, either.

- What was the Number 1 song on the day you were born? How about when you turned 18? (Thanks to Mom)
Me: Last Train to Clarksville - The Monkees when I was born, Caribbean Queen - Billy Ocean when I turned 18. The UK number ones were a little better: Reach Out I’ll Be There - The Four Tops in ‘66, Freedom - Wham in ‘84.
Then again, I can’t stand most Top 40 music, so I doubt I’d find any songs I like.

When I was born:
Light My Fire - The Doors (US)
All You Need Is Love - The Beatles (UK)
When I turned 18:
Shout - Tears For Fears (US)
Into The Groove - Madonna (UK)
I’m thinkin’ they got this one backwards.

I cannot say how happy that made me to know such a patriotic song should be number 1 on the day I was born, thanks for the link.

Mine when I was born was “Hey Jude” and when I was 18 it was “Bad” by Michael Jackson. They said it was my “life” theme song. So I’m supposed to be bad? WTF…where did I go wrong?!?!?
