You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you can’t even get into the military. You know, with all those idiots.
Click it, maggot.
And don’t forget: a hell of a lot of the people in the military came in years ago, when the education standards were even stricter (among other things, you couldn’t get in the Air Force or Marine Corps with just a G.E.D.). In case you forgot, they’re re-enlisting, too.
I’d be more than happy to compare my SAT/ACT/IQ test results with Monsieur Kerry, and I only went to college for a year before I joined the Air Force. (4.0 average in college after I joined the military.)
You know, I thought the only people who actually believed that shi’ite were morons who have never known anyone in the service. Guess I was wrong. And it’s funny how this motherfarker says it’s only people who have “never worn a uniform” who are criticizing him. NICE TRY, ASSHOLE. NICE TRY at spinning this shi’ite, saying you were talking about Bush. That’s the most farking pathetic attempt at spin I’ve ever seen. Ever. And true to form, all the moonbats are parroting the lie. Just goes to show you who the stupid ones are.
At least I know I’ll sleep well tonight. That scumbag and his sycophants have to live with their ignorance and lies. I know the truth.

This is just John Kerry’s way to make 51% of the people in the United States feel good about their vote in 2004. He wanted to be our Commander in Chief. Over the years I have been amazed at a lot of the old timers who enlisted without a high school diploma or a GED and ended up with a Masters or PhD.
What the military does is force a young person to grow up and face responsibilities head on. There’s nothing like learning about the world as a 17 year old on Parris Island.
You learn that the job (mission) has to be completed and that if you make a mistake (fuck up in sweary words) you own up to it.
Watch all those college educated spinmeisters pass the blame like they’re playing hot potato. John Kerry should just stay quiet, and retire after this term. He obviously has a problem with nuance :)

The smartest person I’ve ever met is my Dad, a U.S. Navy veteran.

When I was a young teen, I used to subscribe to the notion that military people were not as bright as civilians. Now that I’m older, I realized how erroneous my view was. It takes an incredible amount of brain power to run all the advanced weapons and equipments the US military has. It takes fast thinking and accurate decision making skills to carry out a special op. I can go on and on, but you get my point. And it just so happens that one of the smartest people I have met online is a former marine colonel.
And Beth, there’s no doubt in my mind that you’re way smarter than dumbass Kerry.

Love your blog, and what you had to say. It’s so nice to be around other like-minded people who have trouble tolerating stupidity.
