What the hell are they thinking? Did they do the same thing when studying Catholicism, or any of the Protestant faiths? What about Buddhism, Hinduism? This is completely unacceptable in a middle school. All these kids need to know are facts about the religions of the world from a historical context. They do not need to practice any of it. And the thing that chaps my ass the most is this comment from the idiot lawyer: “I’m delighted that the Byron Union School District can put this case finally behind it and get on with educating children and exposing them to the world’s great cultures and religions in an appropriate way,” Lye said. What the hell is she doing lumping the hateful religion of islam with any other religion? What the hell has made islam great? Big fat friggin nothing. Damn Damn Damn.
