(Before Metallica sucked.)
Flying has been a major PITA since 9/11. Some of it is understandable, some a result of the idiotic Democrat-led decision to make the security personnel Federal employees (and therefore hopeless DMV maroons closing the stable door after the horse has bolted).
I’m flying to London in October, and California in November. And it seems likely that I am going to be farked around by TSA dingbats confiscating my shampoo, taking my nailclippers and examining my shoes.
To make matters worse, the ignoramuses negotiating the USA/EU flying rules can’t make a deal.
It’s depressing that our numbskull overLords can’t deduce that what we are looking for is PEOPLE not THINGS. My cologne will never hurt anyone, in my hands, but in Osama’s hands the same could not be said. Use the El Al model, and PROFILE. It isn’t difficult.
F–king Steve Jobs. I have developed a bad case of galloping iPod penis envy - all my friends have 7,000 tunes on theirs, I’m stuck in the 1500s. And so I furiously buy albums at iTunes (three yesterday, four today), further enriching Steve Jobs who created the motherfarking problem in the first place.
I shall name this phenomenon the ‘Apple Paradox’.
Bastard, I’ll bet he’s a farking libtard too.

It’s not just her criticism of trashy girls gone wild!!!11!!
Remember this? No wonder she was all over that story!!! SHE WAS THERE!!!

Investor’s Business Daily runs a piece called:
97 Reasons Democrats Are Weak On Defense And Can’t Be Trusted To Govern In Wartime
It’s only 97 of 10,000 but it’s a good read.
If so, you need to watch this British documentary. He’s a left-wing ideologue that recognizes the threat. A rare bird indeed.
If you don’t have time you’re clearly more important than me. Please prove me wrong - I think we’re all too lazy to get it. Take the time, watch the video.
Powerline blog, which can be considered as one of the more serious and widely-read blogs on our side of the blogaxy, each week chooses a ‘blog of the week’, a big honor that drives crazy blog money to the lucky recipient.
Last week was The Anchoress, a truly fantastic writer with much original and serious, lucid analysis.
This week, in a move that could be characterized as dumping Dame Judi Dench and hooking up with Lindsay Lohan, the Minnesotans have gone with Atlas Shrugs (not linked for medical reasons).
Never ones to miss an opportunity for slamming Americans (especially idiotic red-staters), the BBC conclude a piece which has absolutely nothing to do with America, with this little gem:
“We consider this movie offensive, a complete lie and nonsense,” distribution manager Ruslan Sultanov told Reuters.
“It’s a shame that some Americans will probably believe what they see there,” he added.
No Britons are ignorant enough, of course, to be taken in by Borat’s clever mockumentary, but Americans will think it’s deadly serious. The BBC perfectly encapsulate the intellectual arrogance of the left, who see the world in simplistic, cartoonish terms, in which Americans voted for Bush and are therefore all stupid.
Go see the movie, but remember, dumb cowboys- it’s a comedy.
Dean Esmay’s strawmen weren’t the only ones going off the deep end. Now we have Malkin Fauxtography!
Look, I found another “incriminating photo!”

(At least I don’t present it as a real “find.” Idiots.)

And it’s not from a member of the Evil Neocon/PNAC Cabal™, either–although a “truther” would certainly claim otherwise:
I have two basic gripes with the 9/11 Truth movement. The first is that it gives supporters of Bush an excuse to dismiss critics of this administration. I have no doubt that every time one of those Loose Change dickwads opens his mouth, a Republican somewhere picks up five votes. In fact, if there were any conspiracy here, I’d be far more inclined to believe that this whole movement was cooked up by Karl Rove as a kind of mass cyber-provocation, along the lines of Gordon Liddy hiring hippie peace protesters to piss in the lobbies of hotels where campaign reporters were staying.
Secondly, it’s bad enough that people in this country think Tim LaHaye is a prophet and Sean Hannity is an objective newsman. But if large numbers of people in this country can swallow 9/11 conspiracy theory without puking, all hope is lost. Our best hope is that the Japanese take pity on us and allow us to serve as industrial slaves in their future empire, farming sushi rice and assembling robot toys.
Bukkaked with stupid! Actually, after perusing some of the more popular “truther” forums last night, I think “bukkaked with stupid” is too generous. More like truly, criminally, clinically, batshi’ite insane. (And proud of it!)
Oh, looky here: they even have their own military imposter!
BTW, since the bukkaked with stupid truthers love to hide URLs they dump in comments everywhere, here’s one for them:
http://tinyurl.com/nsvar. (Meltdown!)
Whoops, it looks like the “antiwar”* clowns are going to have to change their slogan!
*only when there’s a Republican in the White House
(OK, so I did end up re-creating this post since it was short and I could copy it from Bloglines.)
I think I should make “Strawman of the Week” a regular feature, but I’d end up blowing it off.
At any rate, this week’s Strawman of the Week Award goes to…

Congratulations, Dean! You get extra strange points, as well!
Love,
A “traitor”

Sorry, power outage this morning. I apparently lost a post, too, dammit. Here’s what I linked in it, and I’m not rewriting the post. Grrrrrrr.
Congratulations to Soldier’s Angel HOLLY on the birth of her first baby girl (after four boys)!

Now put a tiara on that beautiful little princess!
