Terrorists can help the Democrats!

Speechless. I am speechless. Shorter Russell Shaw–and by association, Arianna Huffington: If terrorists attack the US again, we win!

I hope and pray we don’t get hit again, like we did on September 11. Even one life lost to the violence of terrorism is too much.

If I somehow knew an attack was coming, I wouldn’t pause for a second to report it in order to prevent it from occuring [sic].

But on the other hand, I remind myself that without the ultimate sacrifice paid by 400,000 U.S. soldiers in World War II, tyranny could well have an iron grip on the world, and even on this nation.

What if another terror attack just before this fall’s elections could save many thousand-times the lives lost?

I start from the premise that there is already a substantial portion of the electorate that tends to vote GOP because they feel that Bush has “kept us safe,” and that the Republicans do a better job combating terrorism.

If an attack occurred just before the elections, I have to think that at least a few of the voters who persist in this “Bush has kept us safe” thinking would realize the fallacy they have been under.

If 5% of the “he’s kept us safe” revise their thinking enough to vote Democrat, well, then, the Dems could recapture the House and the Senate and be in a position to:

Block the next Supreme Court appointment, one which would surely result in the overturning of Roe and the death of hundreds if not thousands of women from abortion-prohibiting states at the hands of back-alley abortionists; [blah blah blah...the (il)liberal agenda would be implemented...]

If you knew us getting hit again would launch a chain of transformative, cascading events that would enable a better nation where millions who would have died will live longer, would such a calculus have any moral validity?

The Unholy Alliance of the left and America’s enemies takes a stand. Again.

I ask the undecided voter: Is this a party you could even think of supporting? One that values attaining political power over American lives and security? Go read it and you tell me, would you even consider such a thing? No matter how delicately Shaw tries to make his point, is there any doubt that this is what he believes?

Why doesn’t he just come out and declare war on America? And isn’t this giving a rather cowardly green light to terrorists, as in “we won’t mind too much?” Why not just organize a massive killing spree, to kill off Republican voters? He’d save a lot of “innocent” lives that way–seeing as how he obviously thinks we are the only enemy.

As of right now, a Technorati search (see also here) shows NO left-wing blogs distancing themselves from it, and it’s not like the Huffington Post is some obscure blog–and it wasn’t a commenter who said it, it was an article written for the Huffington Post. As far as I can tell, nothing even is written at the HuffPo to disagree with it since then. Only this followup post from Shaw, which simply justifies it (in his hateful little mind, anyway). Nice try, you farking seditious, anti-American piece of shi’ite.

I’m tempted to print this anti-American filth out and start putting it on car windshields to show that THIS is the kind of shi’ite the left believes.

At Hot Air, Allah points out that “This same bottom-feeder accused Israel a few weeks ago of having let its soldiers be kidnapped as a pretext to attack Lebanon.” You can see this insanity isn’t an isolated incident. The ends always justify the means to this guy, and so apparently he assumes everyone else acts the same way.
