A former TEACHER: “I was with JonBenet when she died.”
I don’t even know what to say.
BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) - A former American school teacher said publicly Thursday he was with JonBenet Ramsey when she was killed and called the 6-year-old’s death “an accident,” a stunning admission that should help answer 10 years of questions in the unsolved murder case. “I am so very sorry for what happened to JonBenet,” he told The Associated Press.
It’s jaw-dropping. F–king annihilate this monster. I don’t care if he hasn’t been convicted yet; he’s a pedophile, caught with kiddie porn. That’s enough for me. And get this:
Sonoma County Chief Deputy District Attorney Joan Risse confirmed the child pornography charges and arrest warrant against a John Mark Karr, though she cautioned that she didn’t know if he was the same person held Bangkok. State records show Karr lost his teaching credential in 2002.
The license revocation appeared to stem from a five-count child pornography charge brought against him in California in 2001. Karr’s name also appeared on an agenda for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for revocation under the state’s “immoral or unprofessional conduct” provision

Years after JonBenet was killed! How many other children have there been?!
“He said he loved this child, that he was in love her. He said she was very pretty, a pageant queen. She was the school star, she was very cute and sweet,” Suwat said.
Ugh.
Now this Karr monster’s family–his ex-wife and brother–is saying he wasn’t in Colorado at the time, but in Alabama(!). We’ll see. But this guy’s saying he “was in love with her” and his apparent obsession with her, (even if he didn’t do it!) is enough reason for me to want them to lock this freak up and throw away the key.
You know, I never thought Patsy Ramsey killed JonBenet, but I did think they–or at least John Ramsey–knew something. I don’t know how the Ramseys seemed so…I don’t know, something was just fishy about them. The pageants just made them so creepy.
I almost hate to say it right now, in light of this news after Patsy Ramsey’s death, but I still think putting little girls in these pageants is disgusting. Worse than disgusting. I guess that’s why it was so easy to believe the Ramseys had something to do with JonBenet’s death–because children in these tarty pageants is just creepy. It’s sick. I’ll never understand people who put their kids through this. Do they think their kids are dolls for dress-up? Do they think it’s cute to make their kids look like tiny adults? Do they not appreciate the innocence of childhood? It’s sad. Look at this! Don’t these parents know that it’s an invitation to pedophiles? Don’t they pay attention to all the gruesome stories? There’s simply NO good reason to put children in pageants, and every reason NOT to. So I guess I still can’t hold the Ramseys entirely blameless; I can’t say it’s their fault, either. Nobody deserves this, no matter how detestable a person they are–not their kids. I just hope this at least makes parents think about the kind of people who are into these pageants. It’s sickening, mind-boggling, that we even have them in this country.
Poor little JonBenet Ramsey.

I don’t know, but it sure isn’t looking too good. I don’t see why his ex-wife–who divorced him after he was charged with child pornography in 2001, so I’m guessing she isn’t one to defend such a thing–would give him a fake alibi. And it happened at Christmas time, so it’s not like it’s a time of year that she wouldn’t remember where she was. His brother also says that he was in Alabama. They would know if he wasn’t there at Christmas–he was still married at the time.
DNA doesn’t lie. Even if John Karr didn’t do this, he’s definitely one farked up individual. Lock that freak up, and throw away the key.
And dammit, quit putting your kids in pageants. This Karr freak was obsessed with JonBenet and mentioned her being a “pageant queen.” THAT is the kind of person who likes kiddie pageants–it’s a buffet of potential victims on display. People might as well stick their kids out on the street corner, if they’re going to put them on display in pageants.
Update, 13:40– They just mentioned on Fox News that Karr said he “drugged” JonBenet, but the toxicology report said there were no drugs in JonBenet’s body.

I’m still not gettin the report that says he “contacted” Patsy Ramsey before she died, and sent her letters. WTF is that?
And yeah, I think part of the problem so many of us had with this is we think it’s creepy to make a 6 year old look sexy.

I agree with you. Although Karr is clearly unbalanced and very creepy, that doesn’t mean he necessarily had anything to do with the JB case. There are a few major conflicting details already (he said he drugged JB/her tox screen was clean; he says he was with her when she died/ex-wife says he was in Alabama) and he hasn’t even been fully questioned yet.

Oh, yeah — I forgot to mention that I definitely think Karr should be locked up anyway since he was charged with possession of child porn way back when. To think that he was still working with children makes me sick.

Yesterday, the Sope-Bocks the first to report on the “test ” posts from an organization called PowerWurks on UseNet newsgroups, back in the Spring and Summer of 1996. Sope-Bocks readers followed on the names and found the Chiko Patel and someone named Suresh both live in Hamilton, Alabama. The readers speculated, from MySpace profiles, that both people lived in Hamilton, AL the same time as John Mark Karr.
Was he a private tutor or where they pupils at the school where Karr was a student-teacher? If so, the PowerWurks to John Mark Karr link could become quite clear. The Sope-Bocks will be updated as I research the matter in-depth…
