Meanwhile, more Reuters Hezbollywood?

[Bumped to top @20:45; newer content follows.]

WTF? Via Ace: Who is this woman? And why does she keep losing all her homes? One on July 22, and another on August 5th? Wow, what are the odds?

Rusty Shackelford also finds some possibly (ok, maybe obviously) cloned stuff in a photo of an Israeli F-16. That one looks almost as obviously edited (when enlarged) as the Beirut photoshop.

Ace also has a couple more photos, including–shocker!–a burning Koran.

Why is it that the American and European media assume that Muslims — some of the most tribally, ethnically loyal people on the face of the earth — buy into this standard of complete robotic objectivity, when they can’t even manage to convince their fellow Americans it’s the proper ethics of journalism?

That is what I believe they call the million-dollar question.

I haven’t checked in on the Freepers lately except to just find the linked post; I can only imagine how much they’re finding, too.

OK, Reuters, knock the shi’ite off. I wanna make stupid photoshops making fun of you, but I don’t want to make a career out of it. I need sleep, anyway. (At least I have a passable excuse for my lame photoshop skillz!)

UPDATE @ 19:48 - Rusty updates about the F-16:

Another photo by Reuters photographer Adnan Hajj has been shown to be doctored. The photo, which purpots to be of an Israeli F-16 firing missiles on Lebanon has been doctored to make the photo seem more sensational.

Dan Riehl has more as well:

Researching Hajj has led me to evidence which I believe completely debunks two erroneous MSM stories while busting Hajj, yet again. Some may recall I first decimated the ambulance missile attack here, now I have more. Note that the International Commission for the Red Cross is helping to propagate that myth with a high resolution image available here.

I’ve since discovered that no MSM reporter had access to the ambulances in question.

Michelle Malkin is updating with stuff as it progresses, and so is Bill Faith at Old War Dogs. (BTW, Old War Dogs is a great new vets group blog–be sure to blogroll them while you’re there.)

UPDATE @20:45: Is anyone going to look at this? I noted it in the original post, but it died there. I don’t know exactly what to look for. Maybe it’s nothing, I dunno.

UPDATE: @2316: New post here about the photo in the 2045 update.

ALSO: Jeff Harrell has more photo geek tech stuff here about the F-16 photo that Rusty broke here, which, if you haven’t noticed already, is the hot item right now. (I wonder if Jeffy would look at this one too?)

Beth, I’ve just come across something about that picture you were wondering about. You know, the guy running away from the building. Well, you and some people at Free Republic were concentrating on pixels and potential photoshops when the most important aspects relate to the caption on the photo.

I saw this over at the Corner and it clicked.

[...] All credit to Bilby, who pointed out in comments here what everyone else missed except for Kathryn Lopez (she may have gotten tipped by Bilby–I haven’t heard yet): The caption reads: “A Lebanese man runs away from the burning ruins of a building destroyed during an overnight Israeli air raid on Beirut’s suburbs August 5,2006. Many buildings were flattened during the attack. REUTERS/Adnan Hajj” Okay, makes sense for someone to run from a burning building that’s just been attacked. But the destruction came from “an overnight” air raid. But the picture, clearly, was taken during daylight hours. [...]

EXCLUSIVE: Another BIG Reuters / Adnan Hajj Scandal Busted

I was turned on to yet another Hajj scandal by reader Michelle, and have dug a little deeper to add to it. Obviously Hajj is officially discredited so the piling on isn’t necessary, but the point still remains that Reuters…

PHOTOS: “Green Helmet’s” Friend “White T-Shirt” A Hizbollah Fighter?

This is one I’ll leave for readers and especially photo experts to decide on their own, but reader Michelle wonders if the man known as “White T-Shirt” (yeah, “Green Helmet’s Qana pal), is actually the same man as a Hizbollah…
