“If I was president, this wouldn’t have happened,” said Kerry during a noon stop at Honest John’s bar and grill in Detroit’s Cass Corridor.
FIRST of all, it’s “If I WERE president.” Idiot. Yes, that bugs me. And the irony of him being at a place called “Honest John’s” did not pass unnoticed.
On what planet is he living? Note to Hanoi John: the Middle East conflict didn’t start with the Bush presidency. But you knew that, didn’t you?
