BANNED IN INDIA!

AWESOME!!! I’ve been banned by dhimmis!
I know why, too–it’s because of this:

I guessed they missed this, and this, and this. I guess they just took the URL from the picture at Rusty’s, just like they did with Merri’s picture (with her old URL!).
What I don’t get is the fact that since India is a target for Islamic extremists, you’d think they wouldn’t be bothered by a little mocking of these clowns. Ah, the wonders of dhimmitude. So now I’m banned in two countries, Saudi Arabia and India. (OK, I banned the entire nation of Saudi Arabia myself after Aaron got hacked the first time, but I say it counts. Turkey, you’re next.)
Rusty has much more on this - go read it.
UPDATE: Not only am I banned in India, I’ve been condemned by communists in a Show Trial!
UPDATE 2: Michelle Malkin has info that says the blog ban may be lifted within the next couple of days.
UPDATE 3: I don’t usually send out a “welcome” to new readers, but for the Indian readers here for the first time who are coming through a proxy, WELCOME! Just so you know, you won’t find any anti-Indian or anti-Hindu stuff here. I’m cool with y’all–I even watch some Indian movies and love books from Indian writers (in English, of course)–really. In fact, if I got some moron leaving comments attacking India here, I’d run them off. That’s why it’s so weird that I’m banned in India. I can definitely see being banned in Pakistan, but India??? OK, whatever; some dhimmi or Muslim fanatic got his panties in a wad (again!). So again, welcome!

Why The Jawa Report Was Banned in India and Why it Matters
India has banned a number of websites by domain, but has only singled out 17 websites by name, including this one. Among the American websites all are connected in some way to The Jawa Report. Why did India ban this…

[...] Let me break it down for you: The penny Beth threw in the fountain made her wish come true - she made the “banned” list! She also notes that Malkin has word that the silly little ban may be lifted in a few days. Malkin also posted what is allegedly a document requesting the ban. You can see it here. [...]

India calling… and you’re back up. Crabapple? On your side? The hindus aren’t on their own side.
MY Vast Right Wing Conspiracy » Blog Archive » The Indian ban is lifted says:
[...] According to Dakhni, I’m back up in India! So Rusty, Macker, Teach, Editors in Pajamas, and OpiniPundit (and all the incorrectly listed blogs–hahaha) should be back up, along with the Indian blogs that I had never heard of but will be reading now, thanks to the ban! Guess the Indian DOT kinda defeated the purpose of the ban all by themselves, huh? You guys in the Indian government know how silly this makes you look, don’t you? You know, you do have a choice: tolerance and diversity or dhimmitude and cowardice. Freedom and democracy that punishes terrorists (not those who exercise free speech), or bureaucracy held hostage to the demands of extremists. Like Jay Allen says, India has a hard time controlling any of its religious extremists. Fundamentalist Hindu groups such as Shiv Sena have successfully used violent protests to rewrite history and stop production of material they find offensive. [...]

Here’s a pic of the list.
Here are links to the banned blogs (as best we can read them from the jpeg). The ones we could find are hot-linked (some of these are dead blogs- a hint as to how whippy these censors are). If we get better information…

The cappuccino theory -
(Presented to you after minutes and minutes of research, hard work and lots of copy- paste)
Event:
India Blocks Several Web Sites and media tries to figure out how it relates to 7/11 Bombay rail blast.
Summery:
Baskin-Robbins vanilla ice cream + Arabica beans + blended with ice = Cappuccino Blasts( Nothing unusual)
Socialist party + Forming an alliance with small political parties + UPA-Left Coordination Committee = Restriction on freedom of information (Nothing unusual)
Point:
United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is the present ruling coalition of political parties in India (As you know). Largest political party in coalition is Indian national congress (INC) which will proudly claim their socialist foundation.
This alliance is externally supported by the four left parties; Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India, Revolutionary Socialist Party and All India Forward Bloc. In order to coordinate the cooperation, a UPA-Left Coordination Committee has been formed.
Point is:
Why is that some people are surprised, confused, furious, etc,.. by present ruling coalition banning those web site (anticommunist and Hindu right wing) which serves different political perspectives then their own.
When you combine hard core socialist and communist they will attack freedom of speech. (Nothing unusual)
