Useful idiots!

Between the (ridiculous) enemy propaganda spouted by Tokyo Murtha, including this bit of idiocy,
American presence in Iraq is more dangerous to world peace than nuclear threats from North Korea or Iran, Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., said to an audience of more than 200 in North Miami Saturday afternoon.
and the outrageous “treason you can get away with” perpetrated by the New York Slimes and other “mainstream” (ha!) publications,
Because the war on terror is fought in a peacetime atmosphere, treason can be presented as dissent, and you can get away with it. Case in point is the energetic pursuit, and publication, of U.S. intelligence gathering techniques, by the American media.
…and countless other examples of this kind of bullshi’ite, I’m fed up. I don’t have the time to blast these motherfarkers like they deserve. I’m going on a short road trip tomorrow to force myself away from the TV and internets to an undisclosed location (undisclosed until Tuesday afternoon, that is). When all else fails against these traitors and seditionists, I choose “ignorance is bliss”–for a day or two, anyway.
I am incredibly frustrated that we who support the mission in Iraq seem to be spinning our wheels. People are reporting GOOD things from Iraq, including about the high morale of the men and women serving there and the progress of the Iraqi forces, but it NEVER seems to make it into the “mainstream” (yeah, right) media. Terrorists are being caught here in America, and what happens? It’s immediately buried beneath wild-eyed reports of “Big Brother.” I don’t get it. I don’t get how so many can be so farking stupid and paranoid, so blind to reality. It’s reported (not by the media, but by Congress) that WMDs have been found in Iraq, and it barely warrants coverage in the drive-by media at all–despite their constant drone of “where are the WMDs?” Oh, but when it’s said they were there, they discount it. FARK these motherfarking useful idiots. They don’t want to know anything that conflicts with their view.
And they say THEY’RE outraged? What on earth for? They’ve managed to spread their lies to the drive-by media watchers in the semi-conscious segment of America, because all that matters to them at the bottom line is Bush’s poll numbers and public support for the war in Iraq–so they can validate their own delusional views. It’s farking pathetic. Spread a lie long enough, and it becomes “truth.” Go ahead–ask Joe Schmo who just watches the network evening news and maybe reads the paper, what does he think of Bush and the war in Iraq? Ask him. I can farking guarantee Joe Schmo doesn’t know shi’ite beyond what he’s heard or read from the blatantly biased traitors.
I don’t expect everyone to like Bush; I didn’t like Clinton (although the Bush derangement is another matter entirely). But that’s NOT the issue. The issue is the lies and utter disregard for reality and national security that the “antiwar” (only if there’s a Republican President) left has. It’s a national disorder. Hell, it’s a western world disorder–the Euros have it even worse, apparently, but I’m concerned with these idiots at home right now. Do you people have no shame? Don’t you SEE? Don’t you ever feel conflicted at all about your words and actions? You claim to “support the troops, but not the war”–yet you don’t give a shi’ite what “the troops” say, except for the small minority that validates you, and you call those who don’t agree with you “brainwashed,” ignorant, suckered. You claim to “love America”–yet you feel you must destroy it to make it be the America you will love. You morons can’t even be honest about your own views! How on earth do you think we take all the other shi’ite you say if you can’t be honest about “supporting the troops” or your so-called “patriotism?” You think patriotism is sickening, redneck, red-state stupidity, but God forbid we question YOURS. You say you love America, but you equate America with terrorists, dictators, bloodthirsty madmen, as if there’s no difference. So am I to understand you love terrorists, dictators, and bloodthirsty madmen too, then? And those of you Americans farktards who openly say “America sucks,” well? Life’s too short to be miserable; I challenge you to find someplace better. I seriously doubt you’ve ever been anywhere else, so you think you can do better. Well? Try it.
Meanwhile, as you claim your civil liberties are being “violated,” you sit at a computer banging out rabid screeds about how evil America (and of course Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/etc.) are, undisturbed. As you claim “we are no different from the terrorists,” the REAL terrorists, when not busy chopping off heads or otherwise murdering civilians in cold blood for not being submissive to Allah, are quite pleased that you–you decadent, amoral, western-lifestyle infidel devils–are doing the propaganda work for them, while they revile everything you stand for at the same time as much as they revile those of us who support Bush/the mission in Iraq/the right/American conservative principles. You are the very definition of USEFUL IDIOTS. Even the Soviets, when using you useful idiots, didn’t wish to destroy your/our lifestyle to the extent that the Islamists do. Make no mistake: the Islamists will use you for spreading anti-American propaganda, but they have no interest in helping your “liberal” (western) lifestyle; you’ll be stoned to death or beheaded just like the rest of us, if you don’t submit to their bloodthirsty, totalitarian Allah. The enemy is not “peaceful,” and they don’t want to just be “left alone,” unless “left alone” means “left to conquer the world.”
Wake the fark up, useful idiots, before it’s too late. Pulling out of Iraq before they’re ready just opens it up for conquest by Islamists, further endangering the region and the world. Reporting counterterror tactics does not fall under “the public’s right to know,” it is nothing short of broadcasting secrets used to fight the war to the enemy. Bashing America at every turn doesn’t make America better or more to your liking, it makes America more vulnerable to insidious forces–including those which you would certainly find a hell of a lot worse than the “Christian Taliban” that you stupid fools imagine. This “war on terror” (radical Islam) WILL be lost at home, plain and simple. You (the selfish narcissist demanding validation) may think our losing will be a good thing, but I assure you, you are dead wrong. You have gotten lazy and spoiled; you can’t even conceive of a “real” threat to America other than America itself. Remember, this great nation of ours is still young. Countless nations and empires that existed for far longer were destroyed because of the useful idiots and intellectual laziness and dishonesty within. Don’t EVER take America for granted.

This goofy story is being investigated as I write. Murtha never said any such thing, not in Miami, not anywhere else, not ever. Look for Arizona Star and Sun-Sentinel to publish the appropriate corrections in their papers. Knight Rider picked up this story over the weekend. They’ll drop it like a hot potato in the next couple hours. Elizabeth Baier, the author of this story, will be wondering what the big deal is about making up stuff and reporting it as news. If anyone here has contacts at The National Enquirer, perhaps now would be a good time to email her. I suspect she’s going to need a new job soon. Write condolences and “buck up!” note to her at: ebaier@sun-sentinel.com

this is a followup to my previous post:
Were I in Sun-Sentinel’s shoes, I’d sit quiet as a mouse, hoping this will all blow over without much more fuss. Elizabeth Baier quotes Murtha several times in her Breaking World News (Brit Hume of Fox News as well as the Wall Street Joural have taken Baier’s ball and run with it) claims of what Murtha said in Miami. When direct quotes are used, it’s often the case the reporter has recorded the event, in order to make certain their quotes are accurate. What initially drew my attention was her lack of quotes for what she claims Murtha said in her first paragraph.

Shortly after reading the Sun Sentinel story, I googlenews’ed “Murtha Miami Iran Nuclear”
Among the dozens of hits quoting Ms. Baier indexed within a few hours of the Sun Sentinel’s earth shaking expose’ of Murtha’s talk, I found another article published by the Miami Herald.
http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/local/states/florida/counties/broward_county/14896189.htm
You will notice, this writer totally missed Murtha’s “shot heard around the world” (technorati now has 400+ hits for what Ms. Baier claims Murtha said.)
On the unlikely chance Ms. Baier did *not* quote Murtha from a recording she made at the event … I’ve written the Florida International University Public Relations folks asking them to preserve their audio/video recording of this event they sponsored for Murtha to speak at.
I’ve sent inquiries to the entire editorial boards of the Sun Sentinel, Wall Street Journal, Arizona Sun Star and Miami Herald, as well as Knight Ridder, asking them to pursue any recording of this event, in pursuit of the real news story, Elizabeth Baier.
It shouldn’t take more than a day, or three, for Ms Baier to experience personally, that the world of journalism is flat. Whether you like or despise John Murtha is no longer the story. The real story is … just how far has mainstream media sunk? Is Jerry Springer Journalism the new standard for reporters?
Here’s what should strike every blogger as truly shocking… If Murtha never said anything like this … If America’s Conservative Talking Heads plastering this “Murtha fiction” all over the internet, including Fox News and the Wall Street Journal, then who’s to blame for this story achieving such prominence that our enemies will have no trouble finding it, and get the comfort these stories provide them?
Hold your breath and hope that all this aid to our enemies really does have to do with what Murtha said in Miami. Until this gets cleared up by audio/video recordings verifying what was said, it’s America’s media “dittoheads”, including bloggers that are the ones providing comfort our enemies.
Let’s hope Fox News, Wall Street Journal, and of course, bloggers ain’t the real culprits giving comfort to our enemies.
Keep in mind there are only two stories written by reporters who were actually in Miami last Saturday, where Murtha spoke. One used Mutha’s outrageous comments as her opening paragraph, and the other, at a competing Newspaper in Florida, never mentioned them at all.
I spent a few hours on the phone with a friend of mine who is editor for a news site. I’m letting him run with this ball.

[...] Thanks to commenter Chancuff for the heads-up on this: Correction: An article in Sunday’s editions misinterpreted a comment from U.S. Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., at a town hall meeting in North Miami on Saturday. In his speech, Murtha said U.S. credibility was suffering because of continued U.S. military presence in Iraq ,and the perception that the U.S. is an occupying force. Murtha was citing a recent poll, by the Pew Global Attitudes Project, that indicates a greater percentage of people in 10 of 14 foreign countries consider the U.S. in Iraq a greater danger to world peace than any threats posed by Iran or North Korea. Well, now all those who used the out of context quote have published retractions.
We should all demand greater accuracy in reporting.
It would’nt matter who, or from which party that such a ‘Swiftboating’ was attempted to be done to.
We shouldn’t tolerate any of that

Beth says:
TIZ: Take the “swiftboating” slogan and cram it. Kerry hasn’t gotten even a taste of what he deserves of “swiftboating.” And Murtha? You call that “swiftboating?” What, we can’t criticize our opponents now, but those who parrot a meme they (you) call “swiftboating” can? BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!
What’s this “WE shouldn’t” shi’ite? YOU shouldn’t misquote people YOU say you’re quoting! (OMG, am I being “Swiftboated” too? LOL)
Blow it out your ass, TIZ; I’m bored with your sanctimonious, self-important pissant crap.
TIZReporter says:
When the media gets it wrong, and it is picked up repeatedly, and not one of the columnists did any fact checking, it calls all journalists and columnists into question.
Several columnists continued to repeat the alleged quote, long after the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and Rep. Murtha had clarified the original statement.
Watching the video tape of the Florida International University segment with Rep. Murtha is very enlightening.
However, I will leave it to your skills to see if YOU can find it.

Look, I have absolutely less than ZERO interest in this, and very few people are even going to see your incessant comments. This post is over two weeks old, which is an eternity in blog-time. Enlist your own allies in your little crusade, because I have LONG ago moved on. If you keep nagging, I’m just going to start deleting subsequent nag-comments.
If you’re so interested in clarity, SEE THIS. Move along; you’re wasting your time here.
And by the way, Cliff: keep it up and you will find yourself banned on grounds of being a general nuisance. (That goes for TIZ Reporter as well.) This is your LAST warning.
