Outing Jesse MacBeth and other stuff

I almost puked as I watched the anti-war moonbats cutting and running from somebody, who, if his story was true, would’ve been the poster boy of the movement. As it stands, the VA will soon have a Federal Warrant on him:
This isn’t so much about Jesse Macbeth as it is about the importance of outing people like Jesse Macbeth.
We just observed Memorial Day, where we say thanks to those who’ve sacrified their lives in military service to their country. And we say thank you on Veteran’s Day, to those living veterans who’ve served their country. Another thing we do as thanks for their service is provide benefits for service connected illnesses and disability (along with other promised benefits). As you can imagine, there aren’t unlimited funds for these benefits so the care is prioritized and given to those in the most need. Unfortunately, it is also a target of fraud.
Jesse Macbeth is one of those fake veterans who allegedly tried to defraud the VA system.
Wow. Anti-war Speacial Ferces Ranger Qualifyed SEAL Jesse is a liar. Wow. The shock. The awe.
Can anybody, please, just help explain to me how it’s so easy to get a story so ridiculously easy to check out right? This is not Haditha, people. It took MilBloggers and kinda-MilBloggers like us about 12 hours to debunk everything - EVERYTHING - this clown said. And you see the deluge of IVAW support ’round here, don’t ya? I pointed one of their brave ranks to come forward and defend his cause….and nothing….
Whenever you bring the US military in on something we don’t take sides; we take over. While the world is waiting with baited breath for the latest about the “alleged atrocities” in Haditha, you will probably miss how Marines are providing help in Indonesia.
“They’re delivering aid and medical equipment? That won’t sell papers. What’s blowing up?”
It’s amazing, to me, how it happens, over and over and over again, how people think they can beat the military at it’s own game. If there’s anything that John Kerry had taught us, it’s that some people are too dumb to know when to quit. Not that I’m complaining or anything, it’s easy targets like this that get the creative juices flowing.
It’s that lack of common sense that makes the revenge so sweet. Now there’s word that Michael Moore is getting his fat butt sued. Yeah, for lying. Hey, you catching a pattern here? Perhaps, you know it would be a good idea not to make stuff up about the military. I know it’s tempting, but it never seems to work out for ya, do it?
But never let a chance to denigrate our military pass. After hearing about Ex-Marine John Murtha’s disgraceful gun-jumping (and what he should say), it’s gotten a little hotter here in OUR Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. While I’m going to reserve further comment on this until there’s actually something to report, it’s just sad to watch the feeding frenzy, regardless of the calendar day. When the story gets vetted, we will have the facts, and not just blogger reactionary statements.
And, lastly, QUAGMIRE!!! *

Sorry to bring bad news but regarding the story of the soldier suing Michael Moore, I don’t think he has much of a case after reading the original in the NY Post.
It’s a moot point as to the usage of his words out of context. The footage was owned by NBC and their property. Michael Moore is not required to get approval of the interviewed for usage in film.
For instance, Robert Altman didn’t have to pay the people who were on the Sally Jesse Rafael show clips he used in his 1993 film Short Cuts even though they actually were paid a fee before for their image.
He’ll be lucky to get 85 cents let alone 85 million.

Media Coverage of Haditha
I was getting myself all worked up again over the MSM coverage of the Haditha incident. When I got home from work and turned the news on the little news people were explaining how the ‘troubling situation’ has shaken the government all the way up to …
