The war’s deadliest day for U.S. women

I found this from Grey Eagle, an female soldier stationed in Iraq (and a must-read blogger). Of all places, this was featured in Glamour magazine. It’s nice to see that for a change, there’s an article in a womens’ magazine that isn’t the usual limousine liberal crap. It’s just a shame that it’s not in something with a wider audience!
There was a loud bang and the flash of a fireballand in just minutes an Iraqi suicide bomb killed three American military women and horribly wounded 11 more. It happened one year ago this month and was one of the worst disasters ever to hit U.S. women in uniform. But out of that dreadful attack came a true band of sisterstied together by friendship, honor and raw courage.
PLEASE, read the whole thing.
Also read about some other military women who gave all for duty, honor, and country.
UPDATE: Michelle Malkin honors some other women fighting against Islamofascism.
