Jill Carroll Released

By now everyone’s heard the good news that American hostage Jill Carroll has been released. The Christian Science Monitor, for whom she writes, has updates; most recently:
Reporters Without Borders, which has kept up a months-long international support campaign for Iraqi kidnappers to free journalists - including Jill - issued a statement Thursday calling her release “a huge relief.” The organization praised the “exemplary courage and determination of her family,” and the global effort, overall.
“We thank all those throughout the world, particularly the major Arabic media, who campaigned for the release of this young journalist…. Our campaign will not be over until the three Iraqi reporters, Rim Zeid, Marwan Khazaal and Ali Abdullah Fayad have been released in their turn.”
All I can say is this: May her kidnappers rot in hell after becoming maggot-infested with their 72 “virginal” lepers.

Also today, the Houston Chronicle (AP) has “A Look at Foreigners Taken Hostage in Iraq“:

Emphasis mine, for obvious reasons. WTF is wrong with the ASSociated Press? Is it really that hard to call kidnappers terrorists? I swear they write that dhimmi crap just to shock thinking people. Dhimmi assholes. Anyway, the list. Don’t forget all the others still being held, those murdered by their terrorist captors , and the two men still missing.

I was reading their weaselly approved descriptions of several organizations only last night - they call the IRA (who have slaughtered about 1200 civilians and 3000 soldiers since 1969), a ‘militant paramilitary group’.
And you must spell out ‘Irish Republican Army’ at least once in the text, presumably to create a figleaf of legitimacy in uneducated minds (they must be kosher, they’re associated with the Republic of Ireland).
The reality - that the IRA are a bunch of murderous gangster-terrorists - should not be allowed to intrude.
They’ve played a large part in misrepresenting the truth about who we face, and continue to do so.
The whole ‘undocumented worker’ bullshi’ite is even worse.

Judging by Carroll’s statements post-release, she is either suffering intense case of Stockholm Syndrome - or prone to kissing as much Muslim ass as so-called Christian Peacemaker Teams. In every single one of her interviews she has gone on about how terrorists who kidnapped her and killed interpreter… turned out to be all-right bunch of guys. What the FARK is this?

Something is fishy about this.Only 1 month ago she was crying and shaking like a leaf in fear for her life.Now,she says they treated her well.She was in a safe place and didnt need to wear the hijab.She wasnt wearing it a month ago.I wonder if she is going to ditch it once she is stateside or if this is all a setup.The interview she gave after her “release” wasnt convincing.Too many inconsistancies.
