…now it’s the Satanic…..Fishes?
Okay, so I missed all the fun with the Mohammed cartoons, but I think I’ll get in on this one.
Michelle Malkin and LGF are showing us the next Muslim outrage: depictions of the Allah fish.
Here.
On this blog.

All of this is completely true. Dig the Site of the Miracle Allah Fish, Fish from Allah.

Why would that outrage Muslims? We are allowed to write the name of God, you know.
MacStansbury says:
it wouldn’t. it shouldn’t.
then again, even as provocative as the Dutch cartoons seemed to be, there was absolutely no call for riots and embassy attacks.
it’s just part of how there’s no real standard on when something is acceptable and when it isn’t. if is kinda looks like it on an ice cream package, that’s not a revelation, but when somebody finds something that looks kinda like St. Mary on the side of a tunnel, or sees Jesus on some toast, you’ve just got to wonder what people are looking at.
you know what that fish on the left looks like it says? IIDO. sure, it takes a while to see it, but it’s there. in English.

Marine Gunnery Sergeant Michael Burkhardt was on to talk about one of THE most well-traveled stories on the internet, and the priceless photo that was seen around the world, of him giving the finger to the Islamofascist pukes after their IED failed to …

Faeriebell, remember the Burger King nonsense? Same thing. The ice cream swirl design “looked like” Allah, so people complained and BK ended up changing the ice cream swirl design. Not OK on Burger King ice cream cups, but OK on fish. Whatever.

Offended? Far from it - I once saw a website written in an attempt to convert Christians to Islam. It had a page filled with examples of rather blury natural occurances of the Allah symbol - in the nibblings of a caterpillar, the green spot of a potato, the mould growing on a strawberry. Even a Holy Mackeral.
The page might have been more successful if they had used either a spellchecker or someone who speaks more than a few words of english.
