One year ago today, a tube was pulled
One year ago today, Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube was pulled. Blogs for Terri is rounding up people’s memorable posts and current posts to remember the time last year when she was starved to death.
Honestly, I’m still sick, bitter from the whole thing, and I don’t want to open up old wounds. I’ll just post the links to a couple things I wrote that speak to the larger issue–specifically, how we look at the disabled, and generally, the value of human life in all its forms.
Note: trolling on this post will be nuked. I’m still pissed about the nasty rhetoric from a year ago, and I will not change my mind.
