Molly, The Unlicensed Abortion “Doctor”
Is there a doctor or lawyer in the house?
I won’t link to the sick, ignorant moron who thinks she’s “saving” women in South Dakota from coat-hangers (no coat-hangers needed! DIY abortions!), but you can get to it from here (Darleen is, to say the least, not impressed either). The whole sick thing is reproduced here anyway, so the only reason to go is to see Molly the Butcher is for the literally nauseating cheers (as in it’s not a fetus, it’s a “parasite;” and “thanks, I wouldn’t want to accidentally! get pregnant and have to deal with all that while I’m in college”) in the bitch’s comments. Sick. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to turn off the damn computer for good.
I can’t even spit out a venomous rant on this one. There’s a special place in hell for that piece of shi’ite. And hopefully in jail, in the meantime.

Wow…no wonder conservatives lost the abortion debate for so long. As an avid activist in the pregnancy center movement I have to say that it is an attitude of hatred, resentment, and judgment that forces so many scared young girls into the hands of abortionists. We should be seeking to promote a safe place where they can get real help and support that is judgment free. Our society has created an atmosphere of confusion for women and it is tragic that a woman has come to believe that a helpless child is a parasite, but hate, whether towards an abortionist or an unborn baby has the same affect…the creation of bitterness and the eventual destruction of the human spirit. I really do hope that you will see how much more productive the desire to help these people rather than hate them truly is.

The one I “hate” is MOLLY for endangering lives because she (and most likely you) think women’s freedom is MARRIED to the “right” to abortion. Well, guess what. Mine isn’t. I’ve been pregnant, and I went to a DOCTOR. If not a doctor, I would have gone to a midwife. I didn’t go to a “pregnancy center” for my pregnancy. Unless you’re a midwife, take your thinkspeak and shove it.

You are absolutely correct and the dissemination of stupidity is and never will be illegal so you can feel safe and secure in your permanent state of Stuck on Stupid.

As revolting as that site is, it’s pretty clear that it’s not illegal to post the information itself. That’s a different scenario than Kevorkian, who set everything up for the person and did everything but inject the needle.
Think of it this way — it’s no more illegal than describing in detail on a blog how one might murder their wife and avoid indictment. Although it feels as though it should be illegal to make such a post, it isn’t. It’s part of the price we pay for “free speech.”
Molly will never be indicted for this (in a court of law, anyway). It’s better to figure out a way to help counter the entire mentality of the views expressed on that blog.
The internet was just a blip on the screen when Roe v Wade was handed down. It’s a whole new age now and posts like Molly’s — heck, entire web sites — are probably going to pop up everywhere.

Is Molly doing more than just providing information (information she claims she’s coalesced over the years from other published works)? That would be the basis for any potential lawsuit.

No it is not illegal to post a DIY Abortion. However Molly is providing women who may have no medical experience or training a guide on how to abort at home. It doesn’t take a genius to know that performing an abortion at home is not like extracting a black-head from a clogged pore. The risk of injury and death is high. So Molly would not go to jail like Kevorkian but she can be held responsible for wrongful death in a civil court despite her little disclaimer:
