Blogebrity Deathmatch IV

I’ll take…

…uhhhh

…uhhhh

I’ll call it a draw.

Gratuitous Vinnie quote:

“The only reason you’re conscious, Schlussel, is because Jack Bauer does not feel like carrying you. Not only that, my wife works for PayPal, you had better farking have your facts straight before accusing anyone of stealing.”

Schlussel is accusing Jay of stealing? I didn’t get that part. I know the woman is nuts but I didn’t notice that until I had sent in my donation begging Jay to take for the lawsuit.

Give me a break. She offered to do the Law Suit for free and now she is calling Jay a thief?

I told Jay this woman suffers from delusions of grandeur in my email to him when he asked what I wanted to do with my donation. I told him to KEEP IT. This woman thinks the FBI reads her blog for tips.

The woman is a dirt bag in heels.

I am not going to react to this, I’m letting it die. The donors know that they have been contacted, and many have already responded. Some have recieved their refunds, and others told me to use it for future projects. I’m glad one came out here and verified they had been contacted. Thank you Marti!

well, I couldn’t give one crap less about Blogebrity Deathmatch I, II, or III, but you say THIS is a draw?

    yeah, right.

and I wonder just who would register StoptheACLU.org? stealing a registered trademark, anyone? (see MacStansbury.com, MacStansbury.org, MacStansbury.net)

    not cool. very trashy.

I must say this, stoptheaclu.org is legitimate and did not steal my trademark. He is a friend of mine, and we started out under his umbrella as an extension to his cause. He was first. However, we are seperate, and he is on his own with Debbie.

I stand corrected. all retracted about the .com/.org thing.

upon reflection, no reason to be badmouthing any ally. I’ll be happy to support anybody that has the same objectives of shutting down the ACLU. I took occasion to check out the site, and I’m hoping that this will spur the guy to at least make it look like he’s on top of things.

however, I’m now in the “not likin’ Debbie whatsername” camp. I wonder if Beth’ll get in trouble for me calling her vindictive (having or showing a strong or unreasoning desire for revenge).

What prompted her to ask about the money anyway? I have wanted to ask where is my email from her, was, for weeks. I have yet to receive the email she promised to everyone the week of January 19th. Am I the only one that did not get an email from Debbie about the affidavit? WHY should Jay have sent her any money, think about it. She did nothing, she didn’t even email us as promised. What if she had the money, she sure has done nothing to earn it. Where would the money be then? Jay was accountable for the money, Geeze.

Jay, I am sorry this is happening to you. I have read your blog for a year and even though I don’t know you personally, I trust you wholly. Me thinks that woman doth protest too much and there maybe something else to this.

PS You are most welcome Jay. Try not to worry about it. You did the sensible thing by holding on to the money. You really did.

Debbie Schlussel never sent a contract to Jay and had no business whatsoever making any demands of him - and, for goodness sake, she advertises herself as an entertainment/sports lawyer.

If you want to have an attorney represent you, you should pick an attorney with some kind of experience in what you are interested in - sports and entertainment lawyers write up contracts for 10 percent of the salary of a person - they are not exactly known for actually appearing in a court or actually writing a brief.

My ex-husband would be a much better attorney than Ms. Schlussel in Jay’s case - because he has actually argued cases in front of judges, appelate courts and State Supreme Courts - I don’t see Ms. Schlussel claiming to have any kind of court experience.

I just hope she carries malpractice insurance. For her clients’ sakes…

    Steve says:

It appears that she says Jay refuses to show her any books. Why Jay felt he should hide the books from his ‘partner’ is up for grabs here. Jay? If I was in a partner ship of this sort with yuo I would want to see the books too. Why did you refuse and, thereby, piss her off so much.
I can understand her concern about the management of the money in an enterprise she is lending her name and hand to. I do not understand why you would feel the need to be so secretive.

I would walk away from any partner like you, Jay, who refused to be forthcoming as you have been said to do.

Why would Jay think that was ok? To hide the books? From Partners. And don’t say you were not partners or some idiot thing like that.

Maybe I do not have all the facts… But people who think they are with a friend will do things on a handshake. That does not eliminate a need to open the books.

    Jay says:

She only asked for the records after she stated she would not represent me. I was concerned that the folks who donated may not want her to have their personal information, and many thanked me in the email I sent for not divulging that information.

Eh, like I said, I’ve always considered her a dime-store Coulter wannabe. She needs a new schtick, because she doesn’t know how to aim her fire (unlike Coulter, etc.). Picking fights with bloggers? This reminds me of the infamously lame and ridiculous HundredPercenter “public delinking” post–IOW, begging for attention.

None of this crap would have happened if she had a Clueâ„¢ about Misha before she flipped because of his colorful euphemisms, and if she had even the slightest bit of manners instead of going nutty on the Donovans. That episode was truly bizarre.

If she’s freaking because Jay linked to Misha’s post, WTF? Are we bloggers supposed to be Schussel dhimmis? No writing about La Schussel unless in a gushing, flattering light?

Is this some kind of parallel universe shi’ite or something?

Steve, just a question: what makes you so sure you know the truth behind the story? I don’t, nor does anyone but Jay and Debbie S. I find it very hard to believe Debbie’s accusations, though.

    Who is it? says:

Steve: Why don’t you remove your head from Debbie’s rectum for a second, and look at what’s happened over the last two weeks?

This is obviously a he said/she said thing. My view right now is that, given all the vindictive venom Ms. Flusshel has spewed towards anyone who has sided one iota with Misha in their run-in, it would not be a surprise to find she concocted a story to portray Jay as a scumbag. Oh, linking to Misha’s story was the last straw? Seeing her style, I doubt she would have waited to nail his ass…she would have done it the moment she thought he was misappropriating funds. Also notice, Steve, no timeline in her story. That can be a sure sign of a false account, I’d expect any lawyer to keep a detailed timeline for legal purposes.

Of course, maybe he did try to swindle people. The last place I’d expect him to show up in that case would be back at his blog for the world to see. And honestly, would you go through the trouble of creating a blog for the sole purpose of ripping people off? Can’t you think of at least a thousand EASIER ways to do that?

OK, Steve, you can reinsert now. Oh, and that’s hyperbole, Steve, it simply means that you have blinders on. If you’d like, I think you can post all the pro-Schlussel comments you want over at her website. It appears she’s wiping out any comments that question her.

Ofcourse maybe Jay did try to swindle?

 WTF is wrong with Jay’s friends and supporters?

Now I wish Jay had sent her the money even though she didn’t do a lick of work or make contact, as she said she would on Jan. 19th.

Then you would all be shi’ite out of luck and could blame both of them.

Look what the crazy bitch writes about Jay as fact. Do you actually believe anything she says?

    Jay, your friends stink.
