Blogebrity Deathmatch
My money is on the 190 pound trained to rip throats out killer over the scrawny, heavily made up, Ann Coulter wannabe.
Gratuitous Ghostbusters quote:
“So? She’s a dog.”
It’s not like I have a dog in this hunt, I’m just sitting back waiting for the public de-linkings to begin.

I always thought the bitch was a dime-store Coulter/Malkin-wannabe, myself. I NEVER understood the appeal.
Beth Donovan also skewered the bitch here.
What a petty, vain little girl. Buh-bye, Debbie–your fifteen minutes are running out.

and to think I’d never even heard of her before.
Can I go back to not hearing of her now?
Mamacita says:
I’ve never heard of this woman before. I think I was better off then. She writes like a jilted 7th grader.

Just from reading the post, looks like she won on the merits.
Peter says:
Having looked at both sites, now, I might add that the two seem to be on the same side of the road, just disagreeing about Denmark. However, it’s clear to see why the nature of the comments would set Schlussel off, justifiably so in my opinion. She’s constantly getting threats involving gross sexual acts, torture and murder because of her uncompromising anti-terrorist stance in Detroit, the Islamic capital of the U.S. I think she wins on both counts, the content and the merit. I find it interesting strong women condemn a defense against the comments.
William Teach says:
She was interesting when she was trying to file a counter suit to the ACLU’s over the “domestic wiretapping,” but not she is sounding like a petty, whiny bitch. People who cannot take harsh words need to divorce themselves from the blogosphere.
BTW, Vinnie, Beth, Mac, Janette, and even Jody, y’all are responsible for me calling Debbie a petty, whiny, bitch, and any legal action that may occur, since you are legally responsible for any and all deragotory comments that are posted by people that you have never even actually met in real life.
Y’all are also responsible for the stomach muscles I just ruptured while laughing after writing that

That woman has serious issues - not the least of which is her extremely thin skin.
I’m prepared to wager that she’s not a lawyer, or at least has not practiced law, as her grasp of elementary legal principles seems to be….tenuous at best.
I would have laughed almost as loud as the judge if she had filed a suit claiming she had been defamed by being called a slut in a private email.
Moreover, I’m betting she’s not even as much fun as a slut.
In fact, she sullies the good name of sluts.

I find it interesting that a “strong” woman would feel the need to threaten a lawsuit because ONE BLOGGER–one who is KNOWN for his colorful language–made a comment that anyone SHOULD be able to tell was just that–colorful language. Not an actual ACCUSATION.
I also find it interesting that you think I should immediately jump to her defense because it’s a WOMAN. I don’t like petty, thin-skinned people to begin with, but when they go around threatening lawsuits because of something said on a blog (and we’re not talking Powerline, it was at the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler!), then I consider the litigious twit persona non grata. I don’t care if she’s a conservative; she’s still a jerk. It happens, y’know.
If someone had said that about me, I would have just told him to go fuck himself and moved on. I would NOT consider it an accusation of what I actually AM. I’m an adult, apparently unlike Debbie Schlussel.

Misha was blowing off steam because Debbie S. slammed Denmark and said to NOT buy Danish. Misha was pissed and called her something like “syphilitic whore” (which is the kind of language they/we use there–it’s not a special phrase just for her). Now she’s threatening a lawsuit because of its “sexual nature,” (WhatEVER!) and is saying Misha is responsible for every comment left there, too. She’s demanding an apology and retraction–IOW, a BIG DEAL, and he’s done both. It’s still not enough for her, though. I have no idea what she really wants, because he DID apologize and retract, even though it was just a tossed-off slap. Hit the link in the post to read the story.
Beth says:
Goddammit, Teach, the last thing I need is a lawsuit from some petty little biatch!
Oops!
William Teach says:
I wonder if she will cruise the net searching for who is saying what.
PS: new Wordpress sites are now live. ‘Cept all the pictures I did link changes on all the way back to Aug 2005 went bye bye. Apparently, you cannot import Wordpress to Wordpress, at least without difficulty. SIgh. At least 4 hours down the tubes.
