The Lying Islamists

(Moved to top; today’s newer posts are below.)
Those who have been following the Mohammed cartoon story have surely noticed all the Muslims who have commented all over the blogosphere, excusing the boycott and even the VIOLENT reactions to the cartoons. Everywhere you look, someone is saying that Islam “respects all religions.”
BULLCRAP.
Those Muslims who respect others don’t excuse violence, and don’t vilify others’ freedom of speech. (Of course, the good Muslims* who don’t overreact to the cartoons, IMHO, aren’t really following the words of the Koran either, but I digress.)
Islam commands its believers to LIE to achieve their goals. This “Islam respects all religions” meme is just the latest in their arsenal of lies to soothe the infidels, lull us into a false sense of security. These LIES are called al-Takeyya or al-Taqiyya.
Al-Takeyya is a policy whereby a Muslim may lie, deceive or omit critical truths if it promotes the spreading of Islam AND the conquest of the non-Muslim world. According to William P. Welty, Ph.D., al-Takeyya/Taqiyya is:
“The Islamic principle of lying for the sake of Allah. Falsehoods told to prevent denigration of Islam, to protect oneself, or to promote the cause of Islam are sanctioned by the Qur’an, including lying under penalty of perjury in testimony before the United States Congress, lying or making distorted statements to the media such as claiming that Islam is a religion of peace and deceiving fellow Muslims when the one lying has deemed them to be apostates.”
And we, the infidels, are the object of the lies they spread.
And don’t think they call this a “real” lie, either; to them, lying is about mundane issues–but to lie about Islam is not a “lie.” The ends justify the means, always.
Unfortunately, when dealing with Muslims, one must keep in mind that Muslims can communicate something with apparent sincerity, when in reality they may have just the opposite agenda in their hearts. Bluntly stated, Islam permits Muslims to lie anytime that they perceive that their own well-being, or that of Islam, is threatened.
In the sphere of international politics, the question is: Can Muslim countries be trusted to keep their end of the agreements that they sign with non-Muslim nations? It is a known Islamic practice, that when Muslims are weak they can agree with most anything. Once they become strong, then they negate what they formerly vowed.
The principle of sanctioning lying for the cause of Islam bears grave implications in matters relating to the spread of the religion of Islam in the West. Muslim activists employ deceptive tactics in their attempts to polish Islam’s image and make it more attractive to prospective converts. They carefully try to avoid, obscure, and omit mentioning any of the negative Islamic texts and teachings.
An example of Islamic deception is that Muslim activists always quote the passages of the Quran from the early part of Mohammed’s ministry while living in Mecca. These texts are peaceful and exemplify tolerance towards those that are not followers of Islam. All the while, they are fully aware that most of these passages were abrogated (cancelled and replaced) by passages that came after he migrated to Medina. The replacement verses reflect prejudice, intolerance, and endorse violence upon unbelievers.
I’m tired of reading the same line in damn near every thread related to the cartoons, where the liars say Islam “respects all religions.” Exactly who do these people think they’re kidding? Maybe they can peddle that bunch of hogwash to the blind dhimmis on the Left, but that’s not flying here. As far as I’m concerned, ANYONE who claims that Islam “respects all religions” has showed their true colors–that they are exactly the kind of Islamofascist with whom the civilized world is at war. I don’t see TRUE moderate Muslims* making these outrageous claims; they have condemned the violence without caveat. This is not to say they appreciate the images of Mohammed; to be sure, many of them found the images offensive as well–but they DO NOT condone or excuse the reaction to them, and they do understand that free countries with a free press have the right to publish whatever they want.
So you Muslims who want to leave your comments (LIES) that say “Islam respects all religions,” take your c*ck-and-bull story elsewhere. As you can see anywhere on the internet, there are plenty of sheep who are willing to believe you.
* I am not convinced there IS such a thing as a “moderate Muslim,” to be frank. They may very well be moderate or “liberal,” and may call themselves Muslim, but in my opinion they aren’t really following the teachings of Islam. I liken this to Joe Schmo American or European who calls himself a “Christian,” but only by virtue of his heritage–not by his actual practice. I myself was one of those “Christians” for the majority of my life.

I have posted a picture from the Muhammad Ali cartoons, too, despite putting myself at risk for a fatwa. I have no idea why Muslims think a cartoon from the 1970s is offensive, but I think it’s important to take a stand:

[...] It’s a good piece–go over and read it. I’d also say, as I’ve said before, that if more people besides the same few don’t speak up and fight back, I have a hard time believing they really ARE “moderate Muslims,” but rather putting on a good face to hide their true feelings of sympathizing with the radicals and terrorists. MY Vast Right Wing Conspiracy » Blog Archive » UAE’s Dubai Ports World deal says:
[...] Read it all, along with the previous links, if you are the least bit interested in why people are supporting the deal. One point that almost everyone on the Bush side keeps making is that those opposing are xenophobic, Islamophobic, even “racist.” I’m not even going to go there, because I fully admit to being Islamophobic myself (but NOT racist–“Islam” is an ideology that includes all races) and I am not going to deny or apologize for it. I’ll take whatever shots are aimed at me, because at least I’m honest about it. But the one thing I think is crucial in this deal is this: that if there is such a thing as “moderate Muslims” (regular readers know I have my doubts about this), wouldn’t we want to support them? In all the talk about “reforming Islam,” the common thread is that we must punish the extremists and support the moderates. Make it worth their while to be friendly with the west. Make moderate, liberal beliefs and values a viable alternative to fundamentalist, extremist Islamism. Jeff Goldstein puts it like this: …the theocratic insularity of fundamentalist Islam as practiced by certain individual nation states is incompatible with western liberalism insofar as it rejects pluralism; and so consequently, before we can make strategic cultural inroads with a vast swatch of the Muslim population, we must first push for regime change in those countries that inculcate hatred of the west.
