Christmas Presents for Terrorists
Via Atlas Shrugs, who has more about the idiotarian vote on the Patriot Act - CAIR, America’s largest homegrown terrorist organization, has a blog about the Patriot Act. Their latest post is titled “Success for Civil Liberties Supporters.” BULLCRAP. It’s clearly a success–a Christmas present–for TERRORIST supporters such as CAIR.
Also note to whom they link in their posts–sources such as zdnet, TPM Cafe, and other left-wing sites. Heh. No surprise here. And who’s in their permalinks? Naturally, the terrorist defending ACLU (specifically, their Patriot Act page).
They’ve both got action items/alerts at their sites, so if you support the Patriot Act as I do, it’s a good way to find where their actions are aimed and counter them. (Thankfully, I don’t have to bitch about my own senators–Richard Shelby and Jeff Sessions–because they’re on the right side of the issue, as usual. Jeff Sessions for President!) I’m glad they’re not in the mood for gift-giving to the enemy.
While I’m on the subject of gift-giving to terrorists, the Al-Qaeda Bill of Rights successfully pushed by head RINO John McCain and most distressingly, agreed (caved) to by President Bush, is a TRAVESTY. So what the hell are we going to do when someone like Zarqawi, Zawahiri, or bin Laden are captured? Ask them questions politely over tea? Does anyone think these vermin won’t be willing to endure mild annoyances during questioning? They deserve torture, even if there are no questions to be asked or answered. I am tired of this bullshi’ite “we’re above all that” nonsense spewed by “civil libertarians” (appeaseniks)–what next, “we’re above war?” Dream on, idiots! War happens, no matter how many stupid peace rallies you attend, no matter how much everyone wishes there were no wars–as long as the human race exists, there will be violence and war. Grow up. Get used to the dangerous and bloody reality of warfare, and quit trying to tie the hands of those engaged in battle, unless YOU are willing to join them and see how easy it is to do your job without the normal tools of warfare. I’m sick of this silly idealism–we’re always going to have war, but the rules keep getting more and more ridiculous. It’s as if (and I actually DO believe this) that The Enemy is behind every bit of these movements to soften up our war-fighting capabilities–whether John McCain and others are aware of it or not. They’ve been USED, and American lives are being sacrificed at the altar of political correctness and a weak self-image. Charles Krauthammer tells The Truth About Torture–read it.
Question: If you have the slightest belief that hanging this man by his thumbs will get you the information to save a million people [think nukes --Ed.], are you permitted to do it?
…
That is why the McCain amendment, which by mandating “torture never” refuses even to recognize the legitimacy of any moral calculus, cannot be right. There must be exceptions. The real argument should be over what constitutes a legitimate exception.

I think we should just hang or shoot them since they are illegal combatants. If they have
something to say that’s useful… they get to live that much longer.
